They probably stole that too. Could've pawned it and made enough money to buy gas. But, that's why criminals are criminals - they are too stupid to do anything else!
I hope you get some satisfaction soon sir, regardless of how. I'm glad you have a great dealer that is standing by you - that truly makes all the difference. I'm proud to take my truck in for anything to the dealer I've adopted since buying the thing... they are above and beyond with taking care...
Mine's been doing this since 5000 miles. I got a new drive shaft under warranty around 8500, which solved it for 400-500 miles. It's back now. It has not gotten any worse, but it's also annoying. I had a recent software update applied on Monday at the dealer for the powertrain, which did not...
I noticed that same thing! The first stop I come to every morning is an incline, and it never happens there. I also noticed it is worse in 80+ degree weather. It's been cold lately for August here in VA, about 65 in the mornings and 75 evenings, and it seems less bad than it was in July.
The...
When I had my Jeep, and the water pump went out and would take 4-6 weeks to get the part, they put me in another Grand Cherokee as a loaner. Part got in around 3 weeks, I messaged the Jeep Forum's equivalent to RamCares which sped things up - so don't think that's a pointless endeavor to message...
I just had two updates done while getting an oil change, including the above mentioned TSB. The shifting is noticeably quicker and smoother, especially with throttle tip-in while on the highway. However, the "bump" when letting off the brake is still present.. however, it's starting to make me...
Thanks. Honestly, it's not nearly as bad as some of y'all are having. It takes quite a bit of water for even that tiny drop to get in there, and it dries really quickly. I'm worried they'll make more problems by fixing this one.
Here's the leak in mine. Driver side, the top corner of the rear window. Takes a few minutes of holding the hose / washing the truck for it to happen, or a pretty intense rain storm. It's just a small drop that gets in, streaks down the side but stops just before being behind the trim behind the...
Which side of the rear glass? We have similar build dates, and mine has a very very small drop of water coming from the driver side corner of the rear glass after certain rain / washing the car. Not enough to accumulate water, but a drop is still a drop where it shouldn't be.
That has to be the flimsiest piece of junk solution they could've come up with. I was disappointed the first time I got under my truck and saw it. It's still where it should be though thankfully, for now..
Mine has this bump when releasing the brake / when accelerating too. My dealer replaced the drive shaft, after the technician there spoke with STAR and they both agreed the drive shaft sounded like it was binding.
Well, 400 miles after the replacement, it was back to doing it. It stopped...
I like Fair Oaks CJDR in Chantilly. I've used a few others, but they are by far the best. Most friendly, they take your concerns seriously, they don't break things while fixing others (I won't name them, but another dealer is 3 for 3 now with breaking things when they fixed concerns of mine).
I think that was some misinformation that got around regarding 100k mile PT warranty on the gas engines. That is only for the Ecodiesel, and falls in line with RAM's warranty plan for the 2500/3500/etc diesels as well.
While I notice the lag now that I'm used to it, it's nowhere near as laggy as the same unit was on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. That thing took way longer to decide to shift down, and how many gears to skip.
