Same with me. I have everything organized in folders with tagging, artwork, etc. I was hoping to copy it over and it just work like I expected...after I formatted it though it did work just like this. I still have a little organizing to do...most people wouldn't do it but I also have OCD lol...
After a couple days of racking my brain and researching, I have found a solution for the high capacity Flash Drive and want to share with you all in case you're having the same issues. Basically, my iPod no longer worked with the new truck and didn't want to buy a new one so bought a flash...
I'm thinking I may need to reformat my 128GB Samsung Fit flash drive to FAT32 after doing some reading. If that works I will likely never use AA again.
I might take it in and have the dealer install an update to my Uconnect system, if one is available. This appears to be my last resort. Also going to try another Flash Drive, which would be the entire answer to all of my problems since I don't really like AA anyway.
I just downloaded the apps today, and even re-downloaded AA. I also checked for a phone update and I'm running the latest version for my S10. As far as permissions, I've granted all of these apps permission to do whatever they wanted to do, include spy on me. I'm at a loss.
Yeah I tried that too...the only app that shows up that I downloaded was YouTube music. I tried Jet, Pulsar, etc...ones that I selected through the AA app. Very strange.
At this point nothing is a stupid question lol. Yes I downloaded it on my phone and it automatically grabbed my songs on my SD card...I have no issue using it on my actual phone but when I start my truck and plug in my phone, Android Auto comes up but doesn't recognize Pulsar.
I just tried it and it didn't come up on mine through AA...I still have to navigate with my phone. Where should it show up at? Under the list of different music apps to select (Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc)? This is extremely frustrating, being that I simply plugged in my iPod on my...
Yeah I'm not even getting that. I'm also pretty good with technology and can't figure out how to simply search by artist/album/song using Android Auto/Amazon Music.
Well you guys are ahead of the game versus where I am. How do you even access artists/songs/albums with Amazon Music using Android Auto? It remains a mystery on how I can actually use my gigantic, "technologically advanced" screen to actually play my own music library without scrolling and...
Also I quickly realized how bad Android auto is for music since I tried that route. I don't even know how to search through my artists, or if there is even a way to do so. Once again I am left with actually using my phone to scroll through songs. Extremely disappointing.
Does it actually tell you it's reading it or does nothing happen? With mine pretty much nothing happened lol...all I could do was select the USB-1 option because it knew something was in there.
Does anyone know what devices are supported? For example when I plug my iPod in it says device not supported. It's an older one but it's not ancient. Will a new iPod work or some other similar product?
Oh so maybe I'm not leaving it in long enough. Although you expect things to be automatic or close to it nowadays. I'll have them flash my radio next time I take it in, but it was built in April 2019 so not sure if that matters. Thanks for the pointers.
