Awesome! Hopefully you will pull early retirement and then on to your second career...My older brother was able to retire at 18yr5mo.
I spent 4 years in the Navy on special assignment and was ready to reup for 6 and a big VIR but then fell hard for a 5'4" 115lb brunette...End of my Navy life :)
The ORP has some options you might find useful while driving in fields, especially wet fields-that would be the E-locker which locks the rear axle with just the push of a button. Also the extra 1 inch ride height and skid plates could come in handy...Anyway good luck with whatever you decide...
They should be able to determine who the lazy clown was that left them out and hold him/her accountable....Hopefully it was just a case of carelessness and not something more devious...
Something else to add to 'The Delivery Checklist'...
Truck has been built for a few weeks...ETA has changed from first end of February (this was in January) to 3/5 to 4/8 and now 4/11. Maybe just me but something about this seems a bit off...
Got a call from the dealer yesterday and was told my truck would be arriving in a day or two...Sadly, bad info-my sales guy tracked it today and still shows sitting in the yard waiting for a train. ETA has changed from 3/5 to 4/8 and now 4/11. Hopefully this is not a repeat of an F150 King Ranch...
Sorry you did not get your truck today, at least it's on it's way!
Mine is still showing KZS (still no one seems to know for sure what S stands for) and still showing 4/8 for an ETA. They did tell me updates happen on Mon, Wed and Fri. I guess I will again check tomorrow afternoon...
When I bought my first Ram-which is the 16' I drive while waiting for my 19' to arrive, I hated the knob (coming from various Ford F150's) but now I love the extra space it gives in the console...I do however like 'The Look' of a console shifter...
Only reason I got the 12" in my Longhorn is that was the only way to get the HK and BSM. However, in the Laramie you can get both the HK and BSM while keeping the 8.4 screen. I actually like the more conventional look of the 8.4 and knobs/buttons, hopefully the 12'" will grow on me...Dealer said...
I will be adding PPF to the front and rear bumpers as soon as I take delivery...Hopefully I will be able to convince myself body color bumpers are worth $2K ($995 for the body color bumper group and $1,000 for PPF)
Even though I will not even be getting my 19' Longhorn for another two weeks (dealer says ETA March 5th)...IF and when they offer a 426 Hemi, I will be trading ASAP :)
I have the Alpine in my 16' Ram and it's just OK...The Ram I test drove with the HK was less than impressive but it had not had any of the updates. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered the HK system and plan to at least upgrade the sub when JL releases one of their stealth units later in the year.
