Ok guys..I joined the Fox PE DSC Club..I finally decided & did it!
I ordered from PerformanceMods.com and got the set for $3081.98 total.
According to Shock Surplus, tomorrow (Sunday 08/03) Fox is raising their prices by 10-15% !!!
If anyone is looking to replace their rear 2.0s or wants to...
@boogielander
You mentioned height adjusting your Front PEs..am I correct in remembering the PEs adjust on a 0.5:1 ratio (1/2" collar adjust equals 1" ride height change)??
Also, if I don't get my height(collar) measurement set perfectly before installing the PEs, is it sufficient to lift the...
I can't imagine how the Fuel wheel or offset could be the problem. Tons of trucks on this site are running plus/zero/negative offsets without a problem.
I do know on my new Fuel Variant 20x9 +1mm offset wheels, I used TPMSdirect metal stemmed 433mhz sensors..they auto-programmed after about...
Agreed, the Carli Commuters are intriguing..price is good, height adjustments are good, reviews suggest the valving is good, but no valve adjustments like the Fox PEs which means no fine tuning and less margin for error.
The PEs with their DSCs gives more flexibility..case in point, yesterday...
Haaaa, so true!!
I JUST sent Zeb at Thuren an email response that I was waiting for the markets to make me the $$$ this week, so the Thuren would be free, AND INSTEAD..the F-ing markets lost me the Thurens AND Foxes, but I told Zeb.."Monday I'll send in the order"..the money will always...
Eibach Stage-2R probably adequate!
Carli Commuter probably adequate!
Fox PE DSC..gotta love the adjustability..for me a 👍
Bilstein & Eibach will probably come out with 2.5, with Res and Adjusters after I buy Foxes..and I'll be pissy about it🤣
Struts on Clip#2 with ORP springs..1.625" lift...I'm definitely not unhappy, just feel I can do better..even Eibach Stage-2R would be better riding..they are Linear whereas mine are Digressive.
All struts have some tradeoff, I'm looking for best possible🤷♂️🤯
I'll be very interested to hear...
I have poly bushings on OEM Front bar, a 25mm rear bar with poly bushings..on Tight setting, and my Eibachs are Digressive valved (like Bilsteins)..and even with my new 285/60R20s, my Ram corners great..but I want a bit smoother ride and I'm hoping Fox PEs can find that middle/sweet spot.
I'm curious, didn't you just go to a new wheel/tire combo (20x9 with 285/60R20s ??).
Did that change your ride quality & comfort on the Fox PEs?
My new Fuel 20x9 with 285/60R20 Ascents definitely do overpower my Eibach Pro-Trucks (similar to Bilsteins) which aren't dampened or valved well...
I do wish that Bilstein's newest 8112s would be available with there DSC Adjusters, but it looks like currently they only have the Res without the DSC Adjusters for 1500s.
Also, I here Eibach is coming out with 2.5s this Fall, but haven't been able to find further info..but doubt they'll go...
Actually, Don wasn't saying he advised Carli Kings, he was saying he advised the Carli Commuter 2.5F/2.0R setup for me over the Fox 2.5 PE DSCs.
Sure, the Carli Comms do have 2.5-3.0" lift like the Fox PEs, but the PE's DSC is what I feel would help me to get what I want for ride quality...
My truck had ~1/2-5/8" left lean when new..depending on full or low gas tank.
I popped out the RR spring and cut exactly one ring off the top in the first week I had it. My OEM coil uses 3/8" thick coils, and sure enough that dropped the left lean down to 1/8-1/4"..again depending on full or...
Maybe keep your rear swaybar endlinks..Thuren uses a pressed in poly ball that is basically open on the ends..have to regularily fkush it was lube to keep clean.
I'm gonna use all their suspensuon parts, but use Cor4x4 or Carli endlinks.
