This is how I use it. Picture you are finishing a round of golf. Grab the fob, start the truck and then drop the tailgate. Now walking up to my truck ready to load up with hands full of golf bag and other items while the key fob is in my pocket.
Ding ding a winner! Thank you for helping me solve this!
Based your your post, I found this:

I've only got "Select", but it was $5/mo. Now I'm not sure the "all access" package is worth the extra $200/yr
Here's the thing: I do have a paid subscription to SiriusXM. What expired is the "SiriusXM Guardian" which seems to be the UConnect app for remote start/unlock/horn etc.. and anti-theft stuff.
So I'm not 100% clear on the differences, but I do have working Sirius radio under my paid...
OK, apologies--thank you for helping out.
My UConnect trial ended this month, so perhaps that has something to do with the Pandora part? Who knows with FCA.... Ram ownership has not been a very smooth experience for me in the first year.
Dude... seriously? The title of this thread is "XM Says Pandora only for 2020 Trucks"
We are specifically talking about an issue reported to only affect the 2019 trucks. What works/does not work on your 2020 is irrelevant to this thread.
Thanks, but what we're reporting is that the Pandora function is now missing. I was using it fine up until yesterday, then software update, now no more Pandora and no more online search.
These are not limitations to this item. This is how wireless carplay works as designed by Apple. Same exact situation as if you had a vehicle with wireless carplay built-in. It uses a wireless (wifi) network becuase bluetooth does not have the bandwidth to support the graphics and streaming to...
Yesterday when I checked the XM app, my Pandora stations were there, but not in Uconnect. Today, all my XM Pandora stations are now gone.
Where are you going to add them in UC? I'm 99% certain they removed the featutre for us.
I got an update today, and right now my Pandora stations are missing. Pretty ****ty and I will cancel/refund my XM subscription if that's the case that they aren't coming back.
I pay for Pandora anyway so it easy to use that through Carplay.
Looks like my truck has this recall as well, and I also have no desire to go to the dealership for it.
Now that we've had one successful OTA update, I'm a bit more confident that more will come. It just took them so long to get the first one out that it was really painful for me and a lot of...
Interesting, I have not experienced these issues myself. The voice and music quality is lower using wireless/bluetooth than when hardwired, but not to the extent that you report of a 2-second delay.
My suggestion is to try making sure the phone and the dongle can "see" each other and see if...
That one is quite a bit larger than the one in this thread. That could mean it has more power which could be nice to have, but it is also harder to find a spot to put it. I'd love to do a side-by-side
EDIT: the screen is exactly the same. $10 says this is the same exact product out of China...
