European's don't understand the big truck market. France and Renault put the death nail in the Nissan Titan. Not hard to do because they were not selling anyway. FCA also approached Renault but backed off. They then went Peugeot next. Depending on the way Stellantis goes with the new CEO...
Nice to have you here. Enjoy your stay. You'll appreciate the expertise as I did. I hadn't been in a Ram for a long time. This site has been extremely helpful in my transition.
Cruising up I95 yesterday and got a message on the center display that my blinker was on. What? Oh, it is. Last lane change and blinker didn't reset. Whew! Saved me from going around the world to the right.
Some of this silly stuff is helpful from time to time. I guess.
I'll be more attentive to that. Usually when I'm at those speeds I'm in Speed Racer mode and mileage is of no consequence. Enjoying the power and speed. Waving at everyone as I pass by. Usually with one finger.
Did some driving around and made some observations on gas mileage for my '25 Rebel. Primarily flat landscape. Best mileage was clean air and cruise engaged. Any fluctuations caused inconsistencies.
50 mph => 30+ mpg
55-60 mph => 25 mpg
75 mph => 22 mpg
78 mph => 16 mpg
Very significant drop...
I don't really get too bothered with the low gas mileage of full size trucks. Just nature of the beast. Your question did tap into my curiosity, so I did a little reading. If this article is correct, the gas mileage is about right in your ride. I've mainly been around town for the first 1000...
I don't recall if it's in the safety or navigation settings. Maybe the Navigation app itself. There are more settings there. Thinking it's in those. I messed up and enabled it. Drove me bonkers.
The infotainment system has BSM settings. Have they looked into that? Not sure it'll help, but I've been reading that a hard reset on the infotainment system resolves weird stuff like this.
I'm not having the issue in my '25 Rebel.
I didn't get drive assist but did get adaptive cruise and standard cruise. I can envision uses for both, but I think I'll use standard the most.
Drive assist would not work for me. I just don't see me trusting in, so I'm good with what I have.
I don't like self propelled to push mowers...
Hit 1k on the odometer in the '25 Rebel. Just sharing my experiences.
No problems to speak of. It's going quite well actually.
Really like the Hurricane engine. Took it out on the interstate and a few back roads. Can really feel the power and acceleration. Passing other vehicles was...
Does it happen in a certain spot? We live by a law enforcement training center and airport, and there are a couple of spots in my routes around them where I always drop. Phone. Satellite. Everything. Every time. Happens to others, so it's not the truck. I've resolved myself to it now.
🤷♂️
Newbie myself. There's many knowledgeable owners here. Lots of experiences in many model years and varieties of modifications.
The information found here has helped me immensely.
Welcome and enjoy your stay. See ya around.
Wow, you still hung up on that. More of a misunderstanding and eagerness to express an unsolicited opinion by someone who can't comprehend differences in context. As it sorted itself out, a term was used that as defined by some as "misinformation", but by others, a window sticker had the words...
Don't recall those noises coming from the Ecoboost in my F-150. It's been a minute, but I would think I'd remember that. Different design I guess.
I had read in other threads it was normal, but I really haven't convinced my brain that it is. Noises tend to lean towards an issue. Guess I'll...
