I don't like it when an idiot pops over in front of me. But, I actually pay attention to the traffic around me when I'm driving (usually lol!) so when that happens, I just put my foot on the gas to maintain my speed, or slow down more gently, as appropriate.
I don't understand so many people...
That's not what I got.
What I got is that he doesn't like that it slows down before it runs over the person in front of him. I.e. it is working like it's supposed to. He just doesn't like the way ACC works. He doesn't want to have to pay attention and put his foot on the gas occasionally to...
I finally remembered to test mine this past weekend. My '25 Limited does have the 2 buttons. But, the one I *thought* was regular CC is not. The right button is on/off for ACC with the ADAS. The left button is on/off for ACC with no ADAS.
So, I do not have regular CC at all and no way I can see...
I went out to my truck yesterday afternoon and PWU did not activate.
It then worked the rest of the day. No idea what's up with that at this point.
But, @StuartsFriend, regarding your point, I forgot to verify last night, but I *think* the interior lights don't come on from PWU anyway. I think...
Of course, if both batteries are not isolated from each other, then I would expect them to show the same voltage, even if one is good and the other is "bad".
*sigh*
Regardless, PWU didn't work and then 1 minute later it did.
Flaky.
PWU is ... flaky.
My truck has been parked for over 2 hours.
I just went out and walked right up to the driver's door. No PWU. I popped the hood and checked both batteries with a voltmeter. Both showed around 12.6V.
Closed the truck back up and walked to my garage (about 100 yards) and back...
Never drive through any state thinking that you only have to follow "Federal law". You are always subject to all the laws of the state you're in.
If you get arrested in NJ for not following NJ state laws, that's on you. Either that or be prepared to appeal your case all the way to the Supreme...
It SEEMS as though my PWU (proximity wake up) is not working again. I just came out from eating lunch and it did not activate. I have now put my voltmeter in my driver's seat to remind me.
Maybe it didn't activate because of something simple like I didn't get far enough away from the truck...
To connect your truck to your hotspot, IIRC, you go into System Updates (or Software Updates?). Somewhere in there you can connect to whatever wireless access point you want and enter the password for the access point.
That will then allow your Uconnect to download software updates via WiFi...
I got 2 new batteries under warranty in my '25 Limited. It happened on Friday, but as soon as I got my truck back from the dealer I loaded up and hauled *** on a weekend trip.
2100 miles and they said both batteries had bad cells.
And, just FYI, when that happens while you're driving, you get...
Yep. Proximity Wake Up works like a champ now.
And NOW I realize that PWU did work when I first got the truck but stopped working pretty early on.
My theory is that one battery is responsible for that and it died 2 or 3 weeks ago. Then, that battery being dead put some kind of strain on the...
Yes. And it was not working.
I thought it had never worked. But, after they put in 2 new batteries on Friday it started working. And now I remember that it WAS working when I first got the truck. I just honestly didn't know about that feature and didn't notice when it quit working.
So, looking...
Also, I figured I'd see about the BCM update to fix my Proximity Wake-up. I asked.
The guy SAYS that it wasn't working before because of the low battery voltage from bad batteries.
I very explicitly asked if they come on now just from walking up with the fob in your pocket, without unlocking...
I work from home. I've had my '25 Limited for 29 days. I already have 2100 miles on it.
I was loving it... until yesterday.
Went out to go get lunch and it was dead as a door nail. I got out my voltmeter. Main battery was at 5V. Backup battery was at 2V.
I tried charging it with my motorcycle...
Oh, and in the meantime, I finally got a call back from someone at the dealership where I bought the truck.
Long story short, he said that they DID transmit the registration of my ownership of the truck to Mopar 3 weeks ago, but they now see that - for unknown reasons - it didn't get picked up...
Update:
Tow truck arrived and we used his booster pack to jump start the truck. It worked. My truck took an extra second and then started up. He disconnected the booster pack and my truck seemed totally fine.
So, the tow truck driver left and I went to drive it for a bit to let the batteries...
So, I called Roadside Assistance. 800-521-2779
Apparently, that is farmed out to a 3rd party. They took my VIN, looked things up, and told me that that VIN is not coming up as my truck. They found me and, according to them, I still own my '21, not this '25. I traded the '21 in for the '25...
Well... :( :( :(
I bought my brand new '25 Limited less than 1 month ago. I drive it almost every day. Already have over 2K miles on it.
I just went out to get some lunch and run by the bank and my truck was totally dead.
I got out my voltmeter. The main battery is just under 5V. The backup...
