I had an '09 Hemi (no eTorque, obviously) and a '19 w/eTorque. Both crewcab, 4x4, with 3.92 rear end.
I found them both to be underpowered/slow ... compared to other full-size trucks.
Don't get me wrong. The Hemi is not terrible. But, it's still kinda in last place compared to everybody...
Oddly, it was displaying correctly in my post above this morning, without me doing anything.
I did just change it to http and it is still working.
Now I just have to wait and see if it updates as I add fill-ups to my Fuelly log going forward.
I'm 6'1".
I also have the driver's seat set as low as it will go. Maybe if I raise the seat up some it would make the HUD look lower.
I will experiment with that, just to see.
I had the HUD on my '21 Limited. I had it turned on for a while. I tried different configs for what it displayed.
After a month or two, I turned it off and never turned it back on.
I got a new '25 last week. The HUD was on by default. I have adjusted the config and left it on for now. But, I...
At this point, I have to wonder if Stellantis is going to end up really regretting bringing the Hemi back.
They have no doubt already lost a number of potential Hemi customers, either to other brands, or to people like me/us that bought an SST, or possibly even counting people who went ahead...
It's no issue, for me. I just like to know how it's supposed to work and what the capabilities are.
On my '21 Limited, I had one button for ACC and one button for regular CC. In the whole time I owned that truck, I used ACC ALL. THE. TIME. I think I might have turned on the regular CC one time...
I have been trying to get a small banner from Fuelly to display in my signature block.
But, the small sig banner shows with no image and says 0 MPG. But, if I change my sig to show the normal Fuelly banner, then it shows the pic of my truck and the current mileage.
Any idea why? Is the "image"...
Yeah, if they put an updated 6.4 Hemi in the 1500 - something with comparable HP and Torque to the SST HO, and at least equal on mileage, I would be interested.
But, I really can't see that being feasible. I don't think the tech/engineering is there to build a big, naturally-aspirated V8 that...
I did verify that on my Limited the other day. But, I did not go back through all the settings in Uconnect and see if there is some option to make the left button work as just regular CC.
Don't at least some of the lower trim levels still come with only regular CC? If so, then I can't see why...
I had Hemis from 2009 to 2022. Put on 265,000 miles.
I've had an SST HO for a week. Put on 750 miles, so far. I could not be happier!
(well, okay, if the HO also got 30 MPG I would be happier....) lol!
I had a '21 Limited with the MFT. I traded it last week for a '25 Limited with the MFT. I can't see ever having another truck without an MFT, but I digress. The MFT is just SO much more useful than any other tailgate design I have seen.
With my '21, if I didn't somewhat slam the 60 door, the...
My comment was largely based on the assumption that this post is accurate:
If Apple Maps directions are in fact showing in the instrument cluster (I have not tested that as I never use Apple Maps), then I think it is Apple programming making that work but not making Google Maps work the same...
That sounds like an Apple programming issue, not Stellantis.
Raise your hand if you're surprised that Apple would do the Carplay programming so that only Apple maps was supported in the instrument cluster...
I think having it tie in with the blue eTorque looks good.
If you were to change the ones you put on, I would want to change the blue eTorque to match.
I got a '25 Limited with ADAS last week. I immediately put 750 miles on driving up to the other side of NC and back.
The hands free on the Interstates worked very well. It is not as good as the Comma w/OpenPilot that I had in my '21, but it is close enough that I'm not butthurt that OpenPilot...
