Makes sense. I have 5 connected which is not too bad. But I now remember I drove away from the house (had to get groceries) and programmed the RAM using the remote. The edge I did using
the actual door opener by pressing the learn button on the side of the opener.
Well good luck with it.
You download the footage to your phone and email/text it to the investigating officer. Nobody walks off with your camera or SIM card. That would take a search warrant to obtain personal property. Otherwise, the case would be thrown out of court due to improperly obtained evidence. BUT - If you...
I'll have to get that off the unit. But I do know the directions in the manual are a bit off. Let re-read the directions and try to remember what I skipped and what I did twice.
Well I do have my RAM, Edge and two hand held openers working together. The RAM I registered using the hand held remote. The Edge I registered using the garage door opener.
These guys are no more than a dealership not an actual parts store. I was going to order something from them but then started reading about wrong parts, broken parts and other return stuff. They charge 15% and you have to pay shipping even if they screwed it up. If I have to order from a dealer...
Had something similar happen to me with my F150 and my Edge ST (F150 traded for RAM :D) You need to have the vehicle that does work at least 1000ft away from the doors before
you try and program the vehicle that does not work. Genie has a random code generator for the door and what is happening...
I've only had LoJack. They install it in a closed are where nobody can see what is going on so nobody can ever find it.
Beauty of LoJack is the Police call LoJack and enable tracing then they can follow it on GPS if it is actually moving.
Time to put my trailer hitch back in - if someone hits me I want to cause them some serious damage.
Glad you didn't get hurt. Make sure if their insurance says used parts, get an attorney and go after them insurance company. Hell maybe even a new truck :)
That SUCKS !!! Glad you are okay - It almost appears that the point of impact may have completely missed the air bag sensors. I have not yet been under my truck to determine where they are but now I'm really curious. Most of the sensors on cars and most Fords are located close to the bumper...
Just my two cents worth.
1. How bad do you want the truck ?
2. The 3k was a deposit yet nothing states what the deposit is for - truck purchase, shoe shine, payment towards price of truck.
3. They left a loop hole on the Buyers section clearly stating that if the Seller cancels the transaction...
Well after reading everything in this thread it sounds like the dealer wants money.
Also, having worked at an air craft engine manufacturing plant and the temperature you were experiencing at the time, it could very well be a bad casting.
If it is not covered and you have to pay for it make damn...
Once you get it running you can try the extension https://www.downthemall.net/ - Just use your "CD" as the web page. Such as D:\manual\index.html.
It will download the entire manual in html format to your hard drive. Did this for my 2012 F-150 a long time ago. Images and all are obtained.
Good...
I ended up with different night edition 22" wheels and plan on painting the raised region the same color as the truck leaving the center (background) black. I have the paint already just waiting for warmer weather.
