Factory computers must be unlocked before any tuning can be done. Once that's done there is no going back they know even if you don't do any flashes.
I tuned my 2020 Ram with HP Tuners myself.
"Hemi Tick" is like saying someone has COPD. It's a general term for a host of disorders...
87% chance it's cracked exhaust manifolds i.e. exhaust leak.
Gah, there are umpteen different part numbers for O2 sensors on my 2020 Ram. Even seems to be a different # for left vs right up stream.
Does anyone know if there is any real difference? They all look exactly the same and have the same connectors.
Yes, your high flow cats are causing that code. You will need a custom tune to stop it.
Unfortunately for some inexplicable reason our ECU's also use the down stream O2's for fuel trims. This means the adding an O2 spacer trick might not work properly.
Yes, I just sent a set of those back to Summit. They were awful. After removing them I found the drivers side flange warped. Probably why I couldn't stop the exhaust leak...
I recently tried afe shorties. They were awful. Ended up sending them back. Found they were warped after removing them. Currently waiting on Kooks Long tubes I have on order.
Don't buy a cam just based on chop... This is a truck, you need torque more than horsepower. Check out the Truck Norris cam. Lots of videos on it out there.
A couple weeks ago I ordered afe shorty headers. Went to install them and found both Exhaust Manifolds cracked right in the middle. Truck has 40k miles on it. Installed the afe headers. What a $hit show. Just pulled them off and returned them to Summit. Endless exhaust leaks. Once removed...
Must be a threshold before the ECU pops the code. Mine threw the code for Cylinder 4 at about 1500 miles. Dealer replaced coil and plugs for that cylinder and all has be quiet since. Nearly 40k miles now.
It felt fine. The camper is 28' but the whole thing is 34' from ball to bumper. I felt a slight tug towards 18 wheelers when they passed me but that was it.
The truck is not stock though, I've modded it for better towing.
Just towed this beast from Shelbyville, KY to Santa Clause IN. There were some significant grades along the way.
The truck is a 2020 5.7 with 3.21 gears. I've added a Hellwig sway bar on the highest setting, Timbren SES helper springs, Power Stop Pads and Rotors and Billstein shocks. Engine...
