This is the ONLY reason I went with the 8.4C version. Before I bought a year ago, I found out via Ram's website that the standard 8.4 version did not have HD Radio. Everything else that came with the 8.4c I could have cared less about but I like and have to have HD radio. So....how did I know...

Paid $950 in PA. My truck is black and I wash this vehicle less than any vehicle I've ever owned. It always looks clean....and yes, it's black, they never look clean. I think it's worth it though, makes washing it easier and time between washes longer.

Let me give you some advice for future vehicle purchases. NEVER let a sales person educate you, NEVER assume a vehicle comes with anything more than what is on the sticker and NEVER sign a piece of paper until you know the vehicle you may want to purchase inside and out, physically.

That screen is under my app settings. That particular setting is for vehicle, not phone. My phone still has the old interface. It is my understanding that the phone interface is a couple months out.

July 24 as well and working. For those not working, see if you have this screen under the apps/Android auto/in-app notifications settings and makes sure Try the new Android auto is on.

Just a screen shot of the new interface on a 8.4. The bottom portion of the picturee of the collage is just the next page down icons, not to be confused with an extended screen. Waze still doesn't announce over the stereo like Google maps. I guess Google is protecting that one convenience. ;)

Do the cache, the data and force stop. Then go-to your truck and plug in.

Did you guys update AA via the Play Store? I went into the PS, an update to AA was available. I downloaded and installed it. Went to the truck. Same as before. It wasn't until I did the steps I listed above that I seen the new interface.

Go into your apps under settings, select AA, Select Storage, Clear the Cache and the Data and then force stop the app. Reconnect to your truck and you will see an option to use the new interface. Follow the prompts and you're good to go.

I recently renewed mine in Pa, cost was $94. Many of you in this thread who have that high yearly tax on your vehicles do enjoy better taxes on other items or daily cost items so you really have to look at things in a whole. CA however does take the cake, they seem to have the highest taxes on...

Not for me yet, even did the data and cache reset as well as checked the play store. So you know, you can toggle the option in AA on your phone as to whether or not to lock the phone this way you can see your history via phone while still connected.
