    2025 1500 Aluminum Body Panels?

Are any of the body panels on the 2025 1500 aluminum? If so, which one(s)? I appreciate your input.

    2025 1500 3.0 Liter Inline 6 SO Oil Spec & Use

So the oil spec for the 2025 1500 with the 3.0 liter inline 6 SO engine is 0-20W. The HO engine gets 0-40W. Given the recent recall on the Chevy and the “fix” is moving it from 0-20W to 0-40W so there is better protection, is anyone with the SO running 0-40W oil? What was the MPG impact of that...

    2025 Ram 1500 BigHorn

Not sure why they told you that. Maybe they didn’t want to do the work to lock in a deal, but RAM has a process to do just that. Requires a $1K deposit and signing a buyers order, but it is doable.

    2025 Ram 1500 BigHorn

Here is the current status of my order. I suspect it will update to built today. From that to delivered is anybody’s guess.

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

In some states, a 3 month delay could trigger the lemon law by itself.

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

That is good news on the new truck. Hope I can say the same.

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

Yeah, there are good dealers and rotten ones. Around where I live, there are 6 dealers reasonably close. I have dealt with 4 and one of those is on my do not ever darken their door again list. They are arrogant liars that will not honor pricing that they posted on their web site. The other 3...

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

They are making a mistake. Most dealers make the lions share of their profits in the garage. Chasing you off now will likely chase you off forever. The value of repairs over the years far exceeds the hassle of dealing with warranty claims now. Plus, they take a hit by word of mouth…

Downside Of Buying From Distant Dealer

Thanks for all the replies. I was working on a deal with the remote dealer, but when I got the pics of the payload sticker, that blew up the deal. 1231 was not enough payload for what we need. I am still waiting for the truck I ordered to get here. It finally made it to production, light at the...

What's your favorite low-cost Amazon upgrade?

Already purchased and waiting for my yet to be built, but ordered truck: Go Rhino RB10 running boards with the bed liner finish & Rough Country bed mat Carry over from my current truck: air compressor, several tie-down ratchet straps, tow straps, soft shackles, hitch mounted hard shackle &...

    Windshield on crack

In most states you cannot legally put film on the windshield. THBS, aftermarket glass may be less prone to chips and cracks than OEM glass. I have had this experience in the past with some other makes.

    2025 Tungsten - Good/Bad

I hope that the problems here are a small subset of all Tungsten owners experience. THBS, deal killers for me for the Tungsten were the mandatory sunroof, mandatory 5"7' box and the relatively limited payload. No doubt, if it runs right, it is a great luxury truck, but I need the ability to...

    Hate my 2025 ram 1500

Document everything and review your state’s lemon laws. Being a commercial vehicle could be a problem with the lemon laws in some states.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

I negotiated a deal for a 2025 Laramie with a MSRP of $81,305 and a discounted price of $65,471. Also, we agreed on a fair price for my current truck. Unfortunately, as a last checklist item before driving to the dealer, I asked for pics of the payload sticker, it was 1,231# and that was below...

Stories of Salesman/Saleswoman Encounters - Good, Bad & Ugly

I am sure that we have all had interactions with car/truck salespeople that are worth noting either because we had a stellar interaction or had to deal with a clown. Interested in your stories. This morning I saw an advert for a Bighorn with a $63,975 sticker marked down with dealer and Ram...
