What did you do to your Ram today???

The only downside is the usb stays powered on for 45 minutes after turning the truck off, depending on how close you park your phone will still remain connected during that time

Friday morning coffee thoughts.....Would you buy a 4x4 even if you plan to never use it????

What kind of SUVs? They were probably AWD which isn't so great in those situations, those "cars" are front wheel drive (open diff as well) until slip is detected and power is sent to the rear through witchcraft. A 4WD locks the front and rear together, hence the crow hopping when trying to...

    Oil to use???

In that case you want anything with MS-12633. If you can find Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w-40 it's a no brainer, they used to put (maybe still do) the SRT logo right on the front of the bottle

2 wheel drive is fine 99.99% of the time. It's the 0.01% that's the rub. Better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it. As far as ride quality some might say the ride is better in the 4x4 with the extra weight to iron out the road

    Stock UCAs

The part numbers are in the lift kit installation instructions. The uca are identical other than more travel in the ball joint. I have them on my truck now which is stock ride height. Camber, alignment, etc. all checks out

    Stock UCAs

There might be shenanigans at the parts bin. I got the Mopar lift ucas from RockAuto, funny thing is they are less than half the price of a regular uca. $65 instead of $170 https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/mopar,68323530AA,control+arm,10401...

    Stock UCAs

There are two different OEM upper control arms, "regular" and the ones included with the Mopar lift kit which look identical other than more travel in the ball joint. I didn't verify this but some claim the Mopar lift uca's are also the same as air suspension

Which 2025 RAM 1500 models have passive entry?

Fellow plebeian in the same row boat, but mine was purchased before the plannedemic. You could get Limited's back then for that much

    CV Axle movement\noise

Mine are like that. I spray penetrantating oil once a month where the stub goes in, hopefully that keeps the rust at bay. I'd like to drill a hole and install a grease zerk instead
