Been happening to me as well. I assumed it was because my phone battery was low. Deleted the phone and only use bluetooth. Seems to be working for now.
Your mechanic would have access to Prodemand. Which tells him everything he needs to know about your vehicle including drain plug torque specs and service bulletins. Perhaps you should find someone whos been a certified technician for 3 years. They would be up to date on modern vehicles...
My upper glove box light flickers. I see it through the bottom of the door.

Im thinkjng my truck wasnt digging the -25C weather when it happened to me. Stopped at light. Turned off as normal. Went to accelerate at it shut off and parking brake activated, Put it in park started truck turned off pb and it ran fine ever since.
So i was moving stuff out of storage and went to use a rear seat belt and the latch end pulled right out. It wasnt bolted in. Is it a extra or…?

Thinking of having a friend take one of their trucks out for a test drive and stealing the kit out of it.
Their salesman don’t ride along.
Had this happen to me the other day. Stopped at a light. Engine shut off. Went to go. Nope. Display said put in park. Auto stop failure. Then ebrake engaged.
The auto off feature only works intermittently.
