If your "tail is wagging the dog" as you say, its mostly because your load is centered to far rearward on axles ., not the trucks rating.. easily corrected by rearranging cargo

I find that if you want best MPG and dont tow heavy trailers in hot climate , 0W20 or 5W20 is fine for the VVT HEMI ..
