I second this. Although I didn't know about the dome light trick. I just leave mine disconnected for a half hour. Then reconnect and leave alone for an hour, not opening a door or doing anything else. Then give it a try.
A guy with 3,956 messages probably can be trusted though @Willwork4truck
So this is confusing. Obviously you would not see a lit triangle unless a vehicle was in your blind spot. If you do not see that triangle light up when a vehicle is in your blind spot then there is something wrong. If you saw it up until 3 weeks ago and don't see it now, you have an issue.
Is it due to water leaking in around the back window? I would assume so. If you are paying out of pocket for these RF hubs then somehow you need to fix the root cause of their failures, agree? I ended up getting my second one covered under an auto insurance claim. They paid me for the RF hub...
FYI I am on my third RF Hub. First one was replaced under warranty. They said it wasn't due to water intrusion. Even though I think it was but they said it wasn't. Ok with me as warranty paid for it. Second one was from water intrusion thru the back window. First time they ordered new fobs...
I want to resurrect this thread because my outside temp sensor always reads about 5 degrees higher than the temp reported by news channels and weather apps. Is there a way to calibrate it?
Also on all my BMWs I have owned over the years the outside temp is integrated with the climate control...
So this just started yesterday. About every 2 or 3 minutes I get the SIRI pop up window on the screen (the one with the CANCEL button on it) as if I have press-and-hold the speak button on the steering wheel with my iPhone connected. Now I know what you're thinking but the system isn't...
No offense but mine was not "much worse" than yours I don't think. It's just that I chose a more comprehensive fix than squirting sealant in there. As did the dealer and Safelite. I was quoted a new window, properly installed, as the fix. Since I was getting insurance to pay for it, I think...
I had a bad leak in the back window that became extreme during Hurricane Milton (manufacturing defect not acknowledged by Stellantis) that caused an RF Hub failure and carpet mold over time warranting replacement. After the dealer estimated around $5500 I decided to make an insurance claim with...
When I test drove my truck it had to be jump started for me to drive it. I bought it and they said they would replace the battery. I didnt check that they actually did that but it only lasted about 15 months. I DIY replaced it with an Interstate H7 AGM and that one lasted 40 months. I am now...
I am curious about this also. Although mine has stopped going into neutral on its own requiring me to shift to neutral and back to drive. Only at low speed and seemingly a left turn and first thing in the morning. Mine still revs occasionally first drive in the morning and first few stops. I...
They couldn't have tried "everything" if you are out of warranty. Sounds like the only thing they want to try is replacing the head unit. Things you can try yourself:
A different iPhone
A different cable
Reversing the cable (flipping the plug 180 degrees) on both ends
Deleting the phone from...
There are definite SW gremlins (bugs) in our trucks audio system. I have had horrible static in all audio sources that disappeared after turning truck off and back on after a while. I have lost all my radio station (Sirius) shortcuts out of nowhere. Had to reprogram those. The other day my...
I don't have a 2025, but I have had Sirius radio cut in and out a few times under clear skies. I always chalked it up to Sirius not the truck. Because it always stopped doing it. Sorry but I have to say it don't take it the wrong way but Sirius will cut out under some overpasses and such. I...
Thanks for clearing that up. Them saying the main harness got wet from the leaking window is likely true. Have they quoted a cost for fixing your issues if they are not covered by your warranty due to being caused by water intrusion? I ask this because I just went through an insurance claim on...
