I second this. Although I didn't know about the dome light trick. I just leave mine disconnected for a half hour. Then reconnect and leave alone for an hour, not opening a door or doing anything else. Then give it a try. A guy with 3,956 messages probably can be trusted though @Willwork4truck

So this is confusing. Obviously you would not see a lit triangle unless a vehicle was in your blind spot. If you do not see that triangle light up when a vehicle is in your blind spot then there is something wrong. If you saw it up until 3 weeks ago and don't see it now, you have an issue.

After the second one, I got a new window installed by Safelite with a lifetime warranty including consequential damage. Insurance paid for it.
