Why would they charge $100 for a TSB service even if they deny it? I use the clamp and take it off in the winter, reinstall in summer. Not a big hassle as I check air filter etc. at the same time. Not worried about hose failure at all.

On Chevy's if you just slightly lift on the brake before you come to a full stop, the engine will stay on.

No concerns with that. If you had to use that spare it would ride rough until the tire warmed up and got back it's shape.

You can put anything in there you'd store in the cab. I do have some warping a year and a half in, parked outside everyday. That said I'd still get them. Have the sunroof but never use it. Should have saved the $.
