That's a typical dealer answer when they don't know wtf they're talking about. Tire rubber is made in huge batches so why is only one tire having the issue? If a tire wears in only one position and alignment and suspension are good, it is likely a vehicle geometry issue. This is not something...
I've had my "19 on the Firestone lifetime since the first month of ownership. Never an issue. I find my store to be honest, never feel like I'm being sold. It's all about the people working there. I'd call around to a few other stores. Hard to beat a lifetime alignment and always ask for...
I've had some random issues with the Uconnect. Bluetooth dials my cell number and hangs up, screen flickers on and off randomly, etc. I have been 'curing' these with a battery disconnect. At 26k I'm thinking I need to consider an extended warranty.
IMHO the Harbor Freight clamps are the best non TSB solution. Easy on off and I move them a bit once during the season so the hose doesn't get damaged. Been running that way for 2 years. I have no interest in a dealer doing such an invasive repair with all the associated risk. When I trade...
I go check PF before buying anything these days. Bought the jumper pack he recommended, charged it and put it in the truck. 5 months later my son's battery died at the car wash. AAA was a 90 minute wait. I drove over and hooked everything up and his car started right up. He now has a new...
Big difference between washing it properly yourself and spending $$$$ per year on the latest magic coating and touchups. Mine will never see a commercial wash, that's for me, not the next owner.
Credit Karma has my 19 limited w/ 25k at $60,000 which is more than I paid. If I had something else to drive for 6-12 months, it would be gone. Who knows how long this situation will last and with '22's coming, could get real crazy. One thing I thought of when I saw the CK value was that my...
This is correct. and as you know in Georgia, you will pay around 6%. So at least mathematically you should not ask for cash back. I hate the way GA taxes vehicles vs the old ad valorem.
Did you not consider the new Ridgeline or the Tacoma? Granted you would pay more but the new Ridgeline is getting great reviews. If I could find one I'd probably trade today.
Also the fact that many of these new technologies and raw materials are made in countries not friendly to the USA. The changeover will happen but 30-50 years is probably more realistic.
Why would they charge $100 for a TSB service even if they deny it? I use the clamp and take it off in the winter, reinstall in summer. Not a big hassle as I check air filter etc. at the same time. Not worried about hose failure at all.
You can put anything in there you'd store in the cab. I do have some warping a year and a half in, parked outside everyday. That said I'd still get them. Have the sunroof but never use it. Should have saved the $.
Turtle Wax is making some great stuff these days. Check out Project Farm on utube. He did an amazing comparison of spray sealants. Higher priced products are not always better!
