I installed some added back lights, ditch lights, dual cube fog lights, and a 30inch bar in my bumper.. front bumper goes on Monday then i have a 30 inch IR bar that is just magnet held on the hood when i need it for night shoots
all wired to the auxbeam 8 port switch and then that is mounted...
you can tell, As some of the people i talk to its one of the most tasteful lifts out there for real usability with out being overly big or hard to live with day to day. and great for the trails which are a near weekly hit for us
I have not tuned but exhaust and CAI I do think helps my truck maintain its 21mpg on the highway with a 2 inch lift and on 35s with a 5.7etq..it does hurt my city driving tho since I like vroom vroom noises
any day i leave the truck out of the garage it takes 30 min for the truck to cool down enough to allow it to come back on, the media hub is temp sensitive, many people i see with the issue are in hot areas were its 110+ outside and the interior of the car when sitting out all day can be up to...
its all good...if i counted my last trip back from vegas which is mostly down hill I was closer to 25..but the trip up Im at like 17 from phx. ... off-roading mpg is like 8-12
Started my wiring projects, adding the auxbeam 2 sided fuse box and switch pod
started with some ditch lights and prepped all my other lights with weather proof plugs for when my front bumper gets here Monday finally
My last "Truck" was a 2008 Yukon XL Denali. it was good when we were at +15MPG now this 5.7 etourque with 3.92 on a 2 inch lift and 35s Im still getting above 20 on freeways and averaging around 16 in town
just got my first round of programing done last night, and yes Alfaobd had 35x12.5r18 as an tire option so it was easy to select that even though I have 20 inch wheels my speedo is accurate and drivability is better and mpg is up quite a bit now that its calibrated.
I also did fog light drop...
you unscrew the bottom of the can very easy to do.
I run the JLT and its been fine easy install looks clean, Just checked it after 1500 miles and just a bit of oil in there, but very glad i wasnt putting that gunk in my engine to "burn off"
