I have not tuned but exhaust and CAI I do think helps my truck maintain its 21mpg on the highway with a 2 inch lift and on 35s with a 5.7etq..it does hurt my city driving tho since I like vroom vroom noises

you unscrew the bottom of the can very easy to do. I run the JLT and its been fine easy install looks clean, Just checked it after 1500 miles and just a bit of oil in there, but very glad i wasnt putting that gunk in my engine to "burn off"
