Is this normal? When the truck was new, it was tight to drop and raise but manageable. Now Im basically standing by the rear tire, kicking it backwards to get it to move and doing the same to raise it. Ive seen videos online where people are doing reviews of the 1500's and they are effortlessly...
I must be missing something because regardless of how I start my vehicle, the moment I leave it says key fob not located and no one can drive it away even if running.
I have a friend with a similar truck, started mine got out and tossed the keys in the house, he jumped in and he couldnt take it...
LOL and that is why I dont bother with them honestly. It was easy to put on (just be prepared, from what I recall the bolts are on there TIGHT) but the overall install is a breeze and worked great. No moans or squeaks since install.
I've had my rear window leak twice (fixed twice) and luckily no damage to any of the electrical behind the seats.
I was thinking to pull the seats and drape a sheet of plastic over the electronics and tape the crap out of the top with Tuck Tape to at least give me some protection if it happens...
Get BD Diesel. I just did mine this past weekend. Quality is so much better than stock.
That said, mine manifold had 10 bolts, and had two metal bars across the top and bottom bolts that acted like a spacer, similar to what BD does with each individual bolt, but they use a thick washer. I...
I have noticed this flange connection leaks water after a cold start so it is leaking exhaust. Is there a gasket in there? I plan to replace the bolts and nuts which I assume will snap off once I try and impact them, just wanna replace the gasket too if there is one. I tried to take a pic, this...
So the rear glass frame had 2 cracks and that was leaking and replaced. Headliner stained and light was leaking.
When I removed it, the gasket was toast. Cleaned off all the old glue (used a dish sponge with the rough end and a cloth, kept both wet with xylene bit found that acetone worked best...
Just replaced mine at Apple Auto Glass.
Time will tell but it is definitely a different frame/window. Hoping this will fix it. If not, Im done with RAM.
So it developed 2 cracks in the frame over time and it was constantly slowly leaking so I finally took it in. Oh, but no way was I going to the dealer.....
I went to Apple Auto Glass and paid $1200 Canadian (all in with labour, taxes) to get a replacement window (rear slider, heated, etc for a...
I've seen people install aftermarket ligjhts to address the leak so wondering what you guys recommend?
Also, if I go OEM, anyone have a part number for the new one (I assumed the light has been updated to correct the leak?).
I know the dealer will fix this but I'd rather do it myself.
I guess I could ask this in a new thread (which I might if the answer isnt here) but the rear light: I know it too can leak so if I buy a replacement MOPAR piece, has that been improved at all since this leak became an issue? If it's a cheap fix, I'd swap that out as well as cheap insurance.
