I do have a Corvette, and I do take part in the Corvette wave. But completely different vibe from when driving to work in your daily compared to just being out for fun and recognizing someone else doing the same thing.
Yeah, there is probably some trick to getting it to work more consistently. Try using the fob to unlock as you approach the truck if you have keyless entry. Worth a try.
Not sure this will help, but do you park inside a garage and leave your truck unlocked? My wife's BMW would sometimes do this if I drove her suv. I noticed that if I pressed a button on the fob, like lock it before grabbing the handle, then it would always know to switch to the correct...
Would probably help if you could say roughly where the sound is coming from. Are we talking about a sound coming from the brake pedal area or from the wheel calipers?
I have the digital dash. My point is, it changes the driving mode as soon as I press the driving mode arrow and it already changes the driving mode before I have a chance to see anything. It doesn't give you a chance to bring up the driving mode display before it puts you into a different...
Can anyone explain the driving mode function to me? Like where does it show what driving mode I am in? When I press the button, it instantly changes the driving mode. I find this ridiculous that I can't view the driving modes first, and then select one. I was driving on the road and tried to...
I just changed my oil myself last week. If you could do it yourself, just change the filter and dump all the oil out and put in 7.4 quarts. One positive is on the hurricane, oil change is pretty easy with the filter location being easily accessible. If you don't do it yourself, take it...
My guess would lean more towards faulty reading rather than that the oil was overfilled. I don't understand why they have to try to over complicate everything. Just give us the dipstick back instead of all these complicated systems that are prone to fail at some point. The dipstick was fool...
$51k per truck does seem high, considering you could probably still buy a Laramie for mid $50's with discounts. For a work truck, the truck pictured does look nice.
Not necessarily. In 2019 TruckTrend did a head to head between a Rebel with 3.92's and a Laramie Longhorn with 3.21's. The Longhorn with the 3.21's was quicker 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile. With the 8 speed transmission, there is more than enough gears to put the truck in optimal position to...
The cold start is the one thing I am not impressed with in regards to my truck. When I had my hemi, you got the V8 rumble on start up and it sounded like a truck. With the hurricane motor, it's a not so pleasant sounding high rev with one quick stumble about 20 or 30 seconds in, then continues...
Can you describe what you are referring to? I have complained about the high idle on cold starts. My truck idles around 1700 rpm's on cold starts. Lasts about a minute and then starts to come down. Seems to be the norm on the 2025's. My truck is a Laramie with the hurricane motor.
I got a check engine light on my 2025 Ram recently. I bought the truck in September. The check engine light turned out to be related to something with the evap system. They said there was an update for it and performed the update, took a few minutes, and sent me on my way. I asked about the...
