Any way to turn off the 3 horn beep when you exit the truck with the fob and the truck running? I have seen posts saying you can turn it off in the settings, but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated.
To contradict your point for arguments sake, many new sports cars come with a break-in (reduced power) mode built into the computer. I think the new Corvette for example, you are running at reduced power and limited rpm range until you hit the 500 mile mark on the odometer. That being said, I...
My 2025 has the digital gauge cluster. What you quoted from the owners manual was exactly how it worked for me. The miles to epty changed from 54 to 48 and the light instantly came on.
My fuel light came on yesterday. I took a picture right away but I could not get to a gas station. I drove another 70 miles before filling up. I was averaging just over 18mpg, so by my calculations I used another 3.8 gallons of gas after the light came on. Went to fill up, the truck took...
1: I did have manifold issue that was repaired under warranty. Also it did seem to come back at start up years later, but I didn't bother to fix it out of pocket since it wasn't that bad (only lasted 10 seconds or so on cold start) and it did not seem to be getting worse. If it did become...
Traded in my hemi for a hurricane. I loved the hemi. I put 207,000 miles on the last one with no issues. What I didn't want was the e-torque system. When the stand alone hemi (without e-torque) was no longer available, I found it impossible to pull the trigger on a new truck. I felt more...
Mine had the CEL come on for the evap system also. They said there was some update for it. They did the update and sent me on my way in about 15 minutes. I haven't had the CEL come on again, so hopefully all good. I'm currently at about 6k miles.
I am going to let mine run down until the light comes on and report back also. That way we can maybe get a consensus for what is considered normal for this truck.
Has anyone filled up right after getting the low fuel light? I am curious how much gas is in the tank at that point and what the norm is. My 4th gen truck that had a 32 gallon tank, if the low fuel light came on and pulled into a gas station to fill up, it would take just over 26 gallons. So...
I haven't noticed anything unusual with the low fuel light on my 2025 Laramie with the 33 gallon tank. So it definitely doesn't seem normal that some are getting a low fuel warning with a 1/4 tank left.
Not a 48v battery, but it has a smaller 12v motorcycle type auxiliary battery next to the standard 12v battery. Helps regulate consistent voltage for the electronics during the auto stop/starts.
Mine (2025 Laramie) is slowly going in the opposite direction. When new, the truck was consistently showing me about 20mpg average. Now it has slowly been decreasing and it's at 18.8 mpg average. This is based on the dash display and if I do the math myself, it's usually a .2 lower than what...
Mark Dodge is well known on this forum and is a large volume dealer in Louisiana that sells and help arrange shipping to any part of the country. I never purchased from them, but they were more than willing to give me a quote and communicate with me. I am NJ and local dealership don't come...
I few years back when I was driving a 4th gen Ram, I was at a traffic light when the exact same truck as mine pulled up next to me. It was the same color and trim and looked identical to mine. We were side by side at the light, so I rolled my window down and was like "hey nice truck!". The...
