I would be surprised if you didn't have it. Maybe someone else can confirm, but its black button on the side of the tailgate. It's not very obvious when looking.
That's true also. To be honest, years ago I use to say I would never buy a Chrysler product. All their stuff was complete junk imo. Then I owned a couple of Fords and they gave me nothing but problems. So when the 4th gen Ram came out, I liked the looks and gave it a shot. I won't lie...
This is kind of true with all car forums. The vast majority of people only come to a forum to discuss or find a fix for a problem. When things are good they don't bother to participate or even visit a car forum. I'm not saying RAM brand is the most reliable, but even a Honda forum can scare...
I'm just throwing this out there even though nobody is asking. But I am keeping my truck. I have been extremely pleased with my 2025. Just passed 12k miles. The hurricane motor has been a pleasant surprise. I thought I would be crying over not having a V8, but I was completely wrong. The...
This has come up a few times on the forum. Not sure what is triggering the oil level sensor. I haven't experienced it myself. Oil level is probably fine, but for some reason it is reading over filled.
I would think 7500 mostly highway miles is still a pretty safe oil change interval. I am one of those that does not feel comfortable running the oil life indicator down close to zero. I did my first oil change at just under 5k miles and I am currently at 6k miles on current oil but getting...
I do remember that originally the Ram 1500 came with a 26 gallon tank standard and the 33 was optional. Then at some point, they started putting a 23 gallon tank on the trucks with the e-torque system. I think the trucks with the hemi and no e-torque, the smallest gas tank you could get was...
I did 1 oil change on my 2025 already. Changed it myself. I filled it up with the 7.4 quarts it asks for and I have no issues. The oil level shows one notch below the max. This is on a Laramie with the standard output 3.0.
The oil level reading too high is a common problem. I've seen it mentioned here in this forum and also seen it mentioned on other social media sites. They should have just stuck with a dipstick. My BMW has no dipstick either, but a BMW is known for being a luxury car/suv and overly...
My heated seats get pretty hot on my Laramie. I always end up turning them off after a couple minutes. The heated steering wheel feels like it could be warmer though.
I must be old school, the phone as a key and the credit card thingy don't interest me at all. I have them on my BMW X7 and never tried or used them with that car either.
Mine also seems to make some strange noises after shut down. Not sure what it is because the noises are sometimes different. I cold started my truck just to move it 10 ft to do an oil change and as I was under the truck I kept hearing noises under there for 15 minutes before it finally...
