I have the SO, so I have been using 89. No towing. I was accelerating from a light up a slight incline, so maybe a little more into the pedal than normal.
Surprise, Surprise, check engine light came on today. 2025 Laramie with an August build and 3500 miles on it. I will be passing by the dealership tomorrow so they can scan the code. Here we go
I have a Laramie with the 3.55 rear. I have been averaging between 18.75-20mpg per tank full. This is about 1 mpg better than I was getting with my hemi with 3.21's.
It would really depend on the bank. And since he is in a trade and maybe belongs to a union, there is a good chance that maybe he belongs to a credit union associated with it, and maybe they approved his loan for him.
I don't really see anything wrong with an 18 year old buying a new truck. Especially if he is working and paying for it himself. It's not like he took his money and bought a sports car that he is planning to heavily modify that will become a worthless money pit in the end. He needs a truck...
I brought it up because the OP had concerns and expressed regrets. Nothing wrong with bringing up that the lemon law is there for consumers if things get really bad. Maybe you missed the part where the OP mentioned that she was told by the dealership that it may be at least 3 weeks before the...
Nobody said to lemon law the truck. I mentioned lemon law as a form of peace of mind. My advice was, give the dealership time to fix it, but a buyer does have options just in case this turns into some ongoing problem that can't get resolved in a timely manner. So the point to the OP was...
I agree with everything you are saying. My point to the OP was that this is not the ideal situation, but don't be too worried other than the inconvenience, because if the problem continues to persist for an extended period of time and they still have concerns or regrets, that there are options...
Most lemon law lawyers don't charge you but take a percentage of the settlement, which in some cases is more than you paid for the car. I am not advising them to get a lawyer now, but if the problem persists where the dealership has the car for weeks and they still have regrets, it would be a...
Be patient. I know it's not the ideal situation but stuff happens. A friend of mine is going through the lemon law process on a new Honda he bought, so it happens to everyone. I have had great luck and overall experience with my previous Rams, but I am still a little nervous about the issues...
I did see a post on Reddit not too long ago, it came across like he was a tech at a dealership but you never know, but said something to the affect that they have a lot of hurricane Rams showing the same message after oil change and adding the recommended 7.5 quarts.
I would give them a little time to try and fix the truck. If it doesn't get resolved, look into what the Lemon Law's are for your state. If needed, look up Lemon Law lawyers in your area and they will help take care of the process for you. I have a friend going through this with a Honda right...
I kept delaying my new truck purchase because there was always something I wasn't happy with. The last couple years of the hemi, I found it almost impossible for myself to pull the trigger on a truck with the e-torque system. I almost ended up with a GMC, but then I wasn't completely satisfied...
That's good. Sometimes I think it depends on the color of the car. Some cars I don't notice it, and others I notice right away and then think to myself that it doesn't look good. But if you can't really see it and it saves you a few dollars, then all good.
Well if you carry the title of salesperson, it comes with the expectation that you are knowledgable on the product you are selling. A car dealership is not retail store that would be comparable to Home Depot, Walmart, or a grocery store. They are there to sell their own products. The...
