    Found a coolant leak

Im not a mechanic but a good friend of mine is and he now lives right across from the street so it’s been really convienent to have full acess to about 40k worth of Matco tools hahaha. We didn’t do a 60min test but maybe closer to 40minutes and it held at 20psi the entire time. Then we ran the...

    Found a coolant leak

I wish there was a simpler way to confirm.....even a puff of white smoke would of helped.

    Found a coolant leak

Everything is intact. No Mods. Not a fan of damaging or reducing the life of the DPF, I know that's an extremely expensive part. I don't like where this is heading but we will see what I come up with. I don't think the issue is massive at the moment but it would be nice to catch it sooner rather...

    Found a coolant leak

Wouldn't you expect to see a puff of white smoke at startup? Especially after it sat @20psi for almost an hour? Also, just read over the warranty and it looks like the EGR was only covered for 24k miles so might be on my own anyway if that's the issue. The 5yr 100k doesn't state a word about...

    Found a coolant leak

I'm concerned if its not covered under warranty due to the visible damage to the bumper then it will never be and then they will reject any claims moving forward. Not only that but ill be forking up money for the diagnosis......not a fan of the situation ive put myself in by dragging my feet on...

    Found a coolant leak

No luck on finding my coolant leak after some pressure testing today. When cold, it held 20psi for 20-25min. Got it up to temp and it climbed to about 20psi and then slowly came back but that may be due to it simply cooling down. Where is it going!!! It’s consumed about a gallon over the last...

    Oil analysis report.

I guess only time will tell. I think I'm on board with taking some risk as I do really like the truck I don't have much interest with any other offerings on the market at this point. I think it might be a little early to claim that it is just a bad engine, though on a paper with these reports it...

    Oil analysis report.

75K Mile report. Seems to be getting worse. Next change ill do after 5k miles and see if that helps. My oil pressure typically sits around 30psi which is right in the middle of the gauge. I have coolant disappearing as well.......so something is up. Any guess on what could be going on...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

How many miles on the truck and how many of those are with the GDE tune? Maybe its worth taking a picture of it before cleaning? I'm at 76k miles and no tune. Ill take a picture of mine next oil change. Be interesting to see if there is a noticeable difference in buildup.

    What else in your garage?

Hahahah agree, only time will tell! The option to tune these days is just nuts....few hundred bucks, few minutes and bingo bango....+100hp. Then bingo bango.....CEL lol.

    What else in your garage?

Still trying to wrap my head around its performance as is!!! I know people modify these things right out of the box and push 600-700hp easy but the stock 500+hp seems plenty at the moment. The numbers just don't register until you look down and realize what your doing.... There is some coding...

    What else in your garage?

It is. Ill be coming up on 10yrs of ownership on that one. Still as exciting to me as the day I brought it home!

    What else in your garage?

Added another vehicle to the fleet today! 2021 bmw x3m competition. This thing is a beast! It’s performance definitely doesn’t match its appearance.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I have just over 75k miles. I've done about 400 miles since clearing the code and it hasn't returned yet......

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

I cleared the code again to see if it will constantly come on with 100miles of driving. I scrapped the filter idea as the O-ring could be compromised after taking it off so that wouldn't of made me any more confident that I didn't make the issue worse. Truck drives 100% fine currently. I haven't...

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Mine came back today after 72miles. As I recently changed the fuel filter, I’ll drop it again and reinstall to make sure nothing was done incorrectly. Ill re-prime and see how that goes. If that doesn’t work I guess I’ll give the dealer a call.

Recall of High Pressure Fuel Pump

Got my P026C code today.....60miles after a fill up and 150miles after fuel filter replacement. 75k miles on the truck and drives fine. Just did a 1500mile trip this past weekend with no issue. Cleared the code and we will see if it comes back. I’ll check the fuel filter housing once I have some...

    No more diesel.......

Road conditions and driving style are everything. I could see getting 33mpg easy on stock setup doing 65mph. The moment it rains or the wind picks up you will be down to 28 or less. I've managed 30mpg on stock setup with 3.92 and long bed. Also managed 22 with some rain and wind on the same 500...

    Oil analysis report.

Seems like the norm. Very similar to mine but I've been running 7500mi intervals. We all seem to see high aluminum, though no one has yet to report a failure. I have another 4k miles to go before my next one, good to know to keep any eye on potassium and sodium for coolant...…I checked my...
