I think that dealer might have been confused about the plant shut-down. The Chrysler Belvidere plant is shut down from the 13th to the 27th to "align production with demand" according to Chrysler. The disconnect here is that the Sterling Heights plant is where the Ram 1500 DT is built. The...
I'm kind of a muscle car guy. I ordered my Borla Touring exhaust during the holiday sales. I don't mind the rumble of the HEMI Challengers, so I went with it. I don't even have my truck shipped yet! I'm just hoping I don't regret it and end up buying the overpriced resonator.
Very similar to mine. You ordered a few things mine doesn't have: 4'corner air suspension, RamBox, power running boards and the 22" wheels. I ordered the Off-Road Group, which changes the wheels and adds hill descent control and a 1" lift compared to yours. I ordered mine 9 days before you, so...
Yep. I saw someone comment that the multi function tailgate was causing some delays. not sure who said that or if they got their truck yet.
Good luck! Let us know what you hear.
The only way to track it online is to contact RAM through the chat function on their website or you can call them. You'll need your VIN# for them to look it up. I've been waiting for almost 2.5 months and they can't give me an ETA. Can't even tell me when they're going to start building it...
Also, I've been asked by the RAM people multiple times if my truck has the Eco Diesel, because it sounds like that engine platform is causing long delays. Mine doesn't, but I'm up to nearly 10 weeks since I ordered.
Ok. I ordered a Laramie on 11/9/2019. I received the VIN# on 11/13/2019. I was told by the dealer it would take 4-5 weeks. I took that with a grain of salt since another dealer had quoted me 4-6 weeks. After 5 weeks, I started asking the dealer about it and they just said that it was in "D"...
I really like how that turned out. The red looks great with the Night Edition package. It's unusual to find a Night Edition with the ORP. That's what I've ordered.
How's the rubbing with those tires?
I'm not sure about the spring rate, but Mopar told me that the 2" lift can be installed on trucks with the ORP. So it would really just be swapping out for the taller springs.
Anyone use it off-road? Curious how it impacts that situation. The factory version is a compromise for all situations, while the HellWig is aimed at street usage.
Ok. That's interesting. But I'm pretty sure the Challenger is quite a bit louder than the Charger, no? To me, the Challenger sounds great. Just curious how it compares. I figure that several site members own multiple Mopar products.
