It is probably more of a case that the uConnect version will differ, and is "less" maintained or not at all. I'm in Australia and we get an international version that hasn't been updated for years. The US version is maintained and users can get updates over the web.

I unpinned 21 and 22 and my backup camera was fine, so just taped the pins and added my new ones here. Works a treat.

So finally had a chance to look into this more over the holidays. I removed by current tailgate and bumper, reversed up to the new bed and connect to that tailgate wiring - sadly, did not open when trying the handle/key fob/roof switch in the cab. Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question, I'm replacing my truck bed (non ram box) with a ram box bed and am struggling to identify the part numbers - I need the jumper wiring (and harness maybe?) so was wondering if you please share the part numbers you used?

Thanks for posting this. If you can and don't mind, could you show me the wiring or advise the part number that runs from the ram box wiring you had in your picture (backside)? I'm in the process of swapping from a non-ram box bed and it looks like the wiring is incomplete.

Thanks for the responses, I had a look at the video and did some looking at mine, however you can't access the actuators like they did - photo is from the inside of the tailgate with covers removed. Might try the middle actuator to see if I can open it that way - just not sure if the sides need...
