The new transmission takes some time to learn and adapt to the way you drive. Hopefully that will get better. Gearing can also make a big difference. As for the rust, I wouldn't be too happy about rust on a new truck, either.
Interior trim is the most obvious difference. I liked the 'Saddle' color and the barn wood in the Longhorn, but I really didn't like the fake reptile trim on the seats.
There are a few things that are standard on Limited and optional on Longhorn, but if you want "fully loaded", I don't think...
I've had nothing but problems with my Limited, too:
- The AC fan slowed down once for 30 sec or so for no reason. I almost died, probably.
- Once in a while, Uconnect voice recognition picks the wrong song.
- The fan in the ventilated seat made a funny noise once, until I turned it off and back...
I think you're talking about the auto parking brake, and he's talking about the transmission automatically shifting to 'Park'.
If it's the latter, it's not something you can turn off permanently, but others have said you can just buckle the driver's seatbelt to stop it from happening (haven't...
It seems like there's a temptation for a lot of people to do things "better" than what's recommended, without really understanding what "better" means. Top-Tier fuel is better; 93 octane isn't better, just different. Full synthetic is better; 10W-40 isn't better, just different. I bet I could...
Thank you, Captain Irony
The study showed that using 93 when 87 is required offers no benefits. If you think that data has no relevance to using 93 when 89 is required, you just might not be equipped to make decisions like this, and should probably stick to what the manufacturer recommends.
That's my question, too. I want to keep the parking sensors, but I also don't want more chrome, and don't want logos, so I would rather just modify the OEM piece if possible.
That's very interesting. If the air dam goes back up when the suspension goes to aero mode, then the software has to know BOTH are installed. It sounds less like a build mistake, and more like something they're configuring intentionally now.
What's your build date?
This is a little different, because I haven't taken my new Ram to any dealer yet. I have taken my last two Jeeps to several dealers in the area, which are also Ram dealers:
City/State: Beaverton, OR
Dealer Name: Northwest JCDR
Recommend - Yes/No: No
Recommend - Why/Why Not? : Criminals...
Well, about those rear ventilated seats...my 10-year-old thinks they're the coolest thing ever. I knew he would, and I have to admit it influenced my decision on which truck to buy.
 Some people have hated new technology since they came out with automatic spark advance.
I don't use it, but since I paid for it, I would want it to work the way it's supposed to work.
I found this interesting, from a Q&A with Shell on BobIsTheOilGuy:

Translation: It's just marketing.
It appears you're right--it just seems "big" for some reason. That being the case, I suppose from my perspective, there's very little advantage in having the 12" over the 8.4". If navigation through Android Auto could be full screen, it would be a much bigger deal. Without that, though, all I...
