I don't use Facebook. But swapping out the bulbs with excellent Leds and adjusting their focus so you don't blind oncoming traffic is easy enough. I've been running my bulbs for nearly 2 years, zero regrets. Not one vehicle flashed me either.

Not sure but the center console could have an off setting. I'd check that the switches are set correctly.

If it's the starter, Take a hammer and tap it if you have no crank. (worked 40 years ago as a kid to get home from the drive in) The tapping wiggles the contact point and if it starts after a good wack with the hammer, just proves the starter is shot.

I don't know if the condition will improve on the ecodiesel. Perhaps if you have a lot of miles maybe your tranny screen is dirty or low on fluid? I don't know really, just thinking on how non computer cars run.
