Regarding the blind spot: Not sure if they're the same as on the '23 (mine)...
You have to manually adjust the blind spot mirror, it's not electric. Once you adjust them, it will eliminate the blind spot. That said, I've gotten used to mine, but also tempted to replace them with the standard...
I highly doubt that would make a difference.
I would try taking it to the shop that did the lift. I had something similar with one of my Jeeps: I paid for lifetime alignment at a tire shop. Every time I took it in for alignment, it would not track straight on the road. I took it to the offroad...
Even if you're not going to offroad it, 4WD Auto is nice to have when driving in a rain storm.
I thought about getting 2WD. They didn't have any with the options I wanted.
I would ask in the suspension forum. I'm only familiar with Jeeps, so this may not apply to you (or Ram's):
6" is a fairly tall lift. At least for Jeeps, once you get close to 3"+, most would change out the drag link and track bar. Sometimes a different pitman arm, etc. If you are hitting bumps...
Got mine installed a couple weeks ago when I got the spray in bedliner done.
These are Rough Country steps. The step position is adjustable. You can loosen the bolt and slide them where you want them. Bought these mostly for my short 11yo.
I think you got the magic gas that never runs out!
Seriously though, I'd give it another 100 miles, see if it moves. If it doesn't move, you could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes as a quick fix. Otherwise, take it to the dealer since it will be free under warranty.
Seems high. I bought my '23 Bighorn new about a year ago for $49. I know the above is a Laramie Longhorn, but seems like a high price for that many miles.
For comparison, I'd plug the details into KBB and Carvana. You're going to pay more at a dealer, but at least that will give you a baseline...
I use Chemical Guys cleaner on the Ram:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZXFGTM2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
It's essentially just a cleaner and doesn't make it shine. It does claim to get rid of the brown, so might be worth considering.
I don't use anything on my Jeep tires. It's a trail...
When reading this, I also thought of the sway bars. Maybe check if they are broken. Not my Ram, but I did break my rear sway bar on my Jeep while off road and had some similar issues until I replaced the sway bar.
Also check your control arms. Those are known to fail pretty easily (mostly with...
It just depends on which tires you go with, they are all different. Keep in mind, that most 18" wheels won't clear the brakes. So 20" wheels are a safer bet unless you can confirm that the 18" you want will work. You could also get 18" take offs from a Rebel and either keep the tires, or just...
Changing out the wheels and tires is much less work than the emblems. Mine is a '23 Big Horn Sport and came with 20" chrome wheels. I ended up buying new wheels and tires. If you want the OEM black wheels, maybe find someone selling take offs. Then sell yours.
Yup, pics or it didn't happen! Especially the Trans Am.
Also a Terminator fan btw! Some of the few 80's movies I've been able to get my kids to watch (and like).
The best source for 'real' MPG is probably Fuelly: www.fuelly.com
People keep track of their mileage and upload it to their server. Unlike social media where people are somehow getting 10+MPG more than they should be haha.
When they say "most likely won't be able to duplicate those issues", likely correct. They don't work very hard to get the issues to come up. Probably turn it on a few times and see if it will shift. Then mark 'unable to reproduce'.
Bolts rotted off - Check for other rust issues. Could be an...
Bed liner - Just depends on how much you use the truck bed. My last truck I had a tri-fold bed cover so used a bed mat for a while and that was fine. I bought a bed mat for my current truck, but not getting a bed cover. So figure it could blow away if there's nothing holding it down and no bed...
I saw an orange Ram truck the other day. I wish that color was available when I got mine.
I really like the 2024 BTS Blue. Though ended up getting a better deal on 2023 that was still on the lot.
