You can buy a 4x6 1/2" thick rubber horse mat for $50 at most agri supply stores. They are grippy and weigh 100#. Very heavy duty. For the sides you can buy two cans of spray in liner and you are done.
By itself the screen goes blank, the seat cooling turns on, the seat heat turns on, and the split screen, like showing two functions, will change up to like just climate only. Sometime the buttons at the bottom like climate or media, do nothing, even when sitting still.

The alternative is to simply tap into the cargo light circuit under the rear floor, driver side. Its white with brown tracer. Takes just a few minutes and no switch or relay needed.
