You can buy a 4x6 1/2" thick rubber horse mat for $50 at most agri supply stores. They are grippy and weigh 100#. Very heavy duty. For the sides you can buy two cans of spray in liner and you are done.

You worked really hard and apparently did a nice job. The alternative is to simply tap into the cargo light circuit under the rear floor, driver side. Its white with brown tracer. Takes just a few minutes and no switch or relay needed.
