UPDATE - I dropped off my truck to get the repairs completed to include Backup Camera replacement AND have them look at my AC yet again. Picked it up yesterday and was informed that they completed a "Update" on my AC Controller...... waiting on my paperwork to make it my way via email. They...
Take it into the dealer and have them put iy up the rack. It it a whole lot easier to attack it from that position and to ensure that it is seated properly. I originally did mine while on a creeper and resulted in pushing the seal all the way in but going to far so that it wasn't seated...
Update #2 - I called the dealer to check the status on the status of the backup camera that they were supposed to re-order because of the earlier SNAFU... I called the Service Dept and was promptly patched over to the Parts Dept as soon as I mentioned Order Status - she didn't even listen to...
While I might be late to the game on this thread….
My reasoning for being a Dodge/Ram Truck Loyalist is somewhat different than most due to the results of my literarily flipping (head over heals) one while doing 60, riding upside down on the roof, and walking away without ANY ISSUES to include...
I just finished up Month #2 of ownership and have just over 7.5K miles on my RAM. I have a 75 mile round trip to work via the highway and 50 mile round trip to church via the back roads. I am averaging 21-22 mpg. I cruise the highway's between 60 and 67ish depending upon where I am on the...
Update - I called the dealer the middle of last week to get the status of the back-up camera that they "ordered" so that I could get an appointment set up for its installation AND to let the know that the AC was still acting up.... Well I found out that while they did have a camera for my 2013...
I have never had a vehicle's AC operate this way and actually find it hard to believe that this action would be intentional / normal as it goes against everything that Air Conditioning does - Cool and Dehumidify . Why would RAM intentionally allow hot and humid air back air into the very cab...
I am experiencing the same issues with my RAM. Air in Full Auto, Synced, Normal Ops, etc... I always run mine with the recirc on and the temp set between 65 and 70. I did take my truck in the the dealer a week ago and asked that they look at this problem along with a backup camera issue...
AC Fix a NOGO........
Experiencing the very same issues, AC working and then a period of humid air at a lower temperature followed by a return to normal AC.
Would like to know if there is a way to see if TSB 24-001-19 was actually completed. Not saying that I don't trust / believe my dealer...
Just picked up RAM#2 from the dealer. A MUCH better visit than the previous in that when I got into my truck I did not have an array of Warnings, Alarms, and Issues due to incomplete work. Additionally - the dealer has a new Backup Camera on order as they did determine that the original was...
The current Numerical MPG reading that I set up in the center Dash Screen disappeared when I reset the Avg MPG during my last fill up and it will not come back. I have gone into the setup screen and turned it on but it fails to display. I have also gone in and reset everything back to default...
Just scheduled my 2nd Service Visit for repairs. #1 was for the infamous Sun Roof Drain Tubes that the dealer told me about but I fixed after taking it in to show the wet carpet in my first week of ownership. Trip #2 is to have them look at the Backup Camera as I suspect water leakage causing...
Took my truck in to get the running boards that were part of my purchase deal installed at my local dealer.... While there I asked that they address the recent recall while they had it.
The next day I pulled in to pick up my truck, checked out the running boards, and was please with the results...
