2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Not trying to be lazy, but do you happen to have the star case #? I've looked and haven't found it yet. Guess I'm not looking in the right place

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

They've checked the codes that are in the system but not active and that wasn't one of them, but I'll ask next time. Also, when I first got my truck 9 months ago, the Blind spot lights on the mirrors would stay on sporadically and then go off after a few start/stop cycles and hasn't come back...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Mine has had the crash avoidance "off" warning light come on the dash several times. Also a warning has come up saying that Automatic Emergency braking is limited functionality -- service required. Each time I cycle on and off the vehicle, the warning light goes away and automatic braking...

    Digital Key setup 2025 Laramie

I didn't know this was rocket science. Hasn't BMW been using the phone as key feature for several years now? How hard can it be?

I have the card, and the proximity that doesn't work.

    Issues with software 2025 Laramie?

Try it on the far setting and see if it'll go off. Far looks further down the road for potential collisions. That's what mine is set on and it does activate.

    Blind spot monitoring

Mine is very intermittent as well -- spoke with service manager and he suggested the same -- bring in when the code is active and they can scan it while before it cycles off.

Looking to buy a 2025 SO

We'll see -- if most drive both and compare, they'll likely pick the Hurricane -- just my opinion.

Looking to buy a 2025 SO

I don't see that going well -- but at least they'll have the option.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

We can all thank the CAFE standards put in place by the "we're gonna die from global warming" government officials who said "the earth would be destroyed" over 15 years ago.

Power deployable steps controlled by key fob

That's what it's supposed to do. It's programmed that way. I'm not sure you can turn it off though. Mine deploy when I unlock and if there is no passenger, it retracts before I can close my door.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I don't know of anyone on this forum or have seen a post where the proximity feature works (Limited or Tungsten). Correct me anyone is yours works having the feature on in the settings menu

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

The better question for the forum is..............does this proximity feature work for anyone with who has it turned on in the settings menu? Like I said in another post, I rented a '25 Wagoneer and this feature, which was the same in the settings menu, worked flawlessly every time I approached...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I couldn't ever image going back to the 5.7 The Hurricane is just better in so many ways. Like you said, newbies that drive both of them will probably pick the hurricane -- just my guess.

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

After having the HO Hurricane, I could never go back to the same old 5.7L

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I just like power. I don't know anything about MPG gains -- don't really care. That was Riding Deacon in an earlier post about him getting good mileage after the JB4 tune in post #2078. I don't know what it was before. You would have to clarify with him for clarification.
