My dealer (the service manager) has told me that the HPFP recall requires two visits: one to see what parts are needed and the second to install said parts (once they arrive, obviously). It seems odd. Maybe they're checking for metal in the filter???

That is SO much better than having to remove and replace every part of the fuel system after the original pump shreds itself and contaminates the entire fuel system. A quick pump swap...yeah, on Monday I'll be calling my dealership to schedule mine.

Name the dealer. Also, since this is a warranty issue and dealer/customer issue, reach out to @RamCares here. They may be able to assist. I'd be asking for a bit of courtesy since the dealership seems to be a full of a**hattery.

So, the truck won't start and that means no diagnosis so your warranty company says it's not broken enough for a rental car. I'd contact a lawyer and try them again. Or, try them again and ask them if a lawyer is needed to ascertain if the truck isn't working.
