When I ordered my truck Mark Dodge also told me the only way to get the 5.7 hemi was with the 6'4" bed. Fortunately I wanted the 6'4" bed.

I'm 100% sure it was the oil, when the MDS went to activate the engine started misfire and would throw an engine code and run on all 8 cylinders again. It happened immediately after I changed the oil when the MDS system activated. I was thinking I was going to change the oil back to the original...

I had a Jeep commander with the 5.7 and I tried switching to 5w-30 which resulted in a check engine light for incorrect oil viscosity followed by lifter failure once the MDS tried to activate with the wrong oil weight. The repair bill on that was substantial.

Keep us updated on your results. It seems a few people have vibration issues that were unsolvable.
