I think we all have real trust issues for very real reasons. I know my local dealers service reps at the counter tell me real shady things when I declinde all the extra service.
Oh you don't want to pay 2k for a "transmission service and intake manifold cleaning at 20,000 miles? Well it would...
Congratulations on ordering a new truck! I'm sure Anthony and his team will take care of you. The number one thing I valued working with Mark Dodge was the transparency with everything. You will have to share your experiences with us once you take delivery.
I see your signature is a 2022...
I ordered my truck through MD in 2023. I sent them the build sheet and they asked for $1000 deposit.
When the truck was delivered they called me on Zoom to go over the financing. They explained everything in great detail. Everything added up and made sense. The gentlemen I spoke with was very...
I also have the X4S, Once you get the brackets installed if you hold the rails up to the bed you will see where you have to remove the material.
It's a great cover, I've been very happy with mine.
I have the MFT and I would strongly suggest you get the aftermarket braces. There is a MFT bed cover thread that's 50 pages long that goes through a lot of this information. Do not take recommendations on what covers people are using unless you are sure they also have an MFT. Even with the...
From the dealership my oil filter was on so tight that it stripped the "hex" socket on the end of the filter using an oil wrench to try to get it off. I had to resort to a set of 36" channel grips to unscrew it. The drain plug was tight enough that when it did loosen it made a "pop" noise when...
Definitely not a common problem I've seen posted about. I'm glad they took care of you under warranty, as they should.
Just an observation, I typically see people with differential trouble have lift kits, over sized tires, and I think if you combine that with the relatively low payload of the...
I don't believe there is any documentation however as far as I understand it the voltage on the E torque systems do fluctuate more. My best guess would be your voltage dropped on your long 80 mile drive due to the 48 volt battery pack being fully charged.
Let us know what the dealer has to say.
I suspect the loss of traction could also be from the factory tires. I test drove a few trucks back to back in the wet before buying mine and one had whatever they typically ship with from the factory and the traction control light was coming on while trying to pull out into traffic and get up...
I think the CDI is the employee pricing discount, please correct me if I'm wrong.
If you didn't special order this truck I'd strongly recommend getting a quote from Mark Dodge as their regular pricing is typically FAR below any CDI or Employee discounts you would receive from your local dealer...
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to bring this thread to the top again. I'm at 30k miles and now that the weather is heating up the harsh starting when moving from a stop as described in previous posts seems to be more common when hot.
I'm unsure if this is due to the E torque programming...
As others have mentioned the Bench seat has significantly more knee room. If you sit in the buckets you will notice your knee sits against the center console. This can be a big issue for bigger taller guys. Personally I have the buckets but I know a few guys that seek out the bench seats for the...
I second getting a quote from Mark Dodge as a baseline or comparison.
Don't get taken advantage of by a shady dealership. If they are playing games with the prices walk away and spend your dollars at a dealer who is upfront and honest.
I have the E torque system and have had a few instances where either the belt is slipping or something is going on with the transmission when restarting from a stop.
However this is not the first report of this issues with the E torque system. If you search through the forums there are other...
I see we are doing our yearly thread revival of the 3.21 vs 3.92 a little early this year. Last year we made it until July.
Good to see you all here again Ladies and Gentlemen.
I agree after 26 pages this is highly debatable.
