I'm amazed by the PDR stories. OP, if you go this route post before/after pics.
I would have questions for the insurance company about how they're going to follow the "made whole" rule. What if the repair, amazing as it is, is still slightly noticeable?
If your Yokohama's are the A/Ts that are ice/snow rated they should be alright. If they're not I love my BFG KO2s. Put ~25k miles/year on them and half is in ice/snow. A truck in the snow is totally different from a car though. Have to be careful about braking no matter what tires you have on. I...
Ceramic actually makes keeping it clean harder imo. It helps water bead, repels dust and protects somewhat, but certain areas are just going to get dirty no matter what. They will stand out even more on a perfect glossy finish.
Have to admire the strategy- instead addressing a product's shortcomings, just make it obligatory.
"Mr. Pepsi CEO, our diet sodas are losing popularity, people don't like the taste."

18 isn't awful. I can get near 20 sometimes on my commute, but have to go 50, maybe roll a stop sign a tiny bit.
One thing I think I've noticed is cruise control can worsen mileage in slightly hilly areas. It somehow doesn't let you coast above the set speed.
Drove to work in heavy snow yesterday and my A/Ts were fine. Nothing like Blizzaks on my 4Runner though. I do miss snow tires but it's way too much $ and hassle for a truck.
Mine get iffy in cold weather. They might deploy half way, or get stuck in the deployed position. Keep the hinges clean and sprayed with WD40 helps, or keep them permanently stored. The whole thing is a silly design feature imo.
