I probably know the answer to this but is there a way to 100% mirror your phone's screen to the uconnect screen? Same as hooking a laptop up to a TV with an HDMI cable?
That's the only way I would use the vehicle screen as a single navigation method. Phones are just too good at auto-filling...
Keep them stored on the touchscreen by going to: Safety/Driving Assistance > Power Sidestep > change from Auto to stored. Fyi if you ever disconnect the battery the settings return to Auto.
Most people seem to have similar issues. I try to keep mine clean and spray the hinges with WD40 but...
I prefer gas 2 stroke also. More air CFM/MPH and time at max throttle for your $. Also no problems with extreme temps or being rained/snowed on. My 5+ year old Husqvarna 125b sits in the truck year round. I don't want to even say how old the gas is it's run on.
^x2
Seems like once oil, coolant and transmission is all warmed to 200*F and air is moving 50+ mph, the outdoor temps would affect gas mileage only barely more than the color of the truck. If internal friction and fuel-air mixes were this finicky we'd have much bigger problems than gas.
The ~5k foot elevation gain is the impressive part. You probably have the etorque and non-A/T tires to thank.
If you had a tail wind and/or got stuck behind a tractor trailer that would make a big difference, too.
OP, the list made me chuckle. I admire it, I just hope Ram designers/engineers don't find it.
Give yourself some time with the truck... Soon, you'll be able to tell which problems matter more or less. Next is realizing it's mostly either inherent to the design concept or intentional engineered...
These trucks have an electronic mind of their own. Who knows why they do some of the stuff they do. People are afraid of "artificial intelligence." Maybe they actually should fear artificial stupidity.
Mine's currently on a trickle charger because it kept deploying/storing the side steps...
I've got two Britax One4Life Clicktights and a Popbark back seat protector. Easily reversible and have had my 5 year old and 3 year olds in them since birth. Supposedly will fit them up to 120 lbs lol.
You won't have space problems in the crew cab. My 5 year old does kick my seat back with his...
Do you have a charger you could put on it overnight? This happened to me a few weeks ago, used my trolling motor battery charger and fixed the lights and limp mode. Still getting a new battery though.
