Hydraulic lines have a tapered side and an O ring jam nut. Loosen jam nut, tighten center nut, retighten jam nut. I use loctite hydraulic locker and have no leakage issues.

Thinking again about the design of the pacbrake, it has to flow better than the competitor design with in and out ports independent of the center nut. The pacbrake is really close to emulating the filter without the blocks in the way.

You just have to loosen the jam nut on the fitting to tighten the center nut.

Here is a side view of my setup. Westin pro mod bumper and skid plate. The pacbrake mounts the filter inside and above the frame rails, even using the larger filter. So its not really visable from the side other than a couple fittings, even with an off road style bumper.

Im pretty sure 99% of people here are not cutting mounts off the frame. The pacbrake kit is the obvious turnkey solution.
