Did any of the people removing the active grill shutters investigate why they are there and how they help. Maybe the engine needs to be hotter in order to perform as it was built to perform.
I owned one of those dodges with a slant six and it wouldn't keep up with anything. I got out run by a pickup with a traditional six cylinder. If manufacturers didn't come up with new engines I might be driving a straight 8. No thanks.
Well I expected that sort of reply and there's nothing wrong with it. I remember in high school in the '60s my classmates wanting to hear those noisy cars or pickups. My ideal vehicle would be one that will run 150 mph and I can talk quite easily to whoever was sitting in the passenger seat. My...
"- I don't understand why I can park it with 120 miles remaining and start it up the next morning with 84 miles remaining."
When you parked it it was calculating miles per gallon on what you had been doing which was driving it on the highway or in town or whatever the next morning you idled it a...
4x4 is going to cost you at least a mile per gallon. The ratio on that rear axle is going to cost another mile per gallon and if Eco hardly ever comes on then you're not driving conservatively that's going to cost from two to four miles per gallon. You're getting just about what you should be...
I'm not sure when this post was new but if the truck is running and continues to run and everything continues to work correctly then it would seem that probably the voltage indicator itself is not quite right.
Well this has been discussed before a lot I'm going to put it in a different forum just because it's somewhat different than what I've been told before. And there's also some documentation for who did it test. Take it as you want.
Several professional studies have measured exactly how bed...
If I were the head of Stellantis I would also spread that rumor. It wouldn't make any difference whether I plan to remake a 5.7 V8 or not. Just a rumor being around and on the internet will sooth some feelings and make people stay with Ram trucks. But I do have a question why would they want to...
I have a 2023 e torque 5.7 v8. I was raised in the age of V8's. I drove fast then and still do sometimes and test the limits of the V8. Other than ego and some esoterics I do not understand why people still think that V8 should be produced. Other engines are just as powerful just as quick and...
My suggestion was implied by the title. I intentionally wrote it that way to attempt to not direct a suggestion to anyone in particular. But I apologize for the post. I didn't realize the answers I received would be so similar in tone to those people posting on yahoo Mail. I'll have to look...
Hopefully this won't get me banned. I taught school school for many years and if a student asked me a question and I replied "I already answered that go look it up", I would have been fired rather quickly. People learn in different ways and I needed to to explain in ways they best understood...
The systems I see for sale today have cameras to be installed in existing mirrors. Have to drill a hole in the bottom and then route the wiring into the door. These systems are quite inexpensive, They can provide replacement tailgate handles even. All I need is how to get the mirror apart.
I read your post. My question was just how hard to install cameras in mirrors which you skipped. Everything seems pretty straightfoward except for that. Any input there? I'm thinking about the birds eye system with a separate screen.
Thinking about installing aftermarket 360 camera system. 2023 Big Horn 1500. Standard mirrors. How hard to get them apart enough to install the side cameras and route the wiring?
