I bet that slams pretty hard. I had 2 12s in my old Civic and it about rattled it apart. 1 12 of n my last Ram and it wasn’t enough so going middle ground with 2 10a this time. All I’ve got left to do today is install the amp and put the seats back in.
I've got the dual 10" vented box from Fox Acoustics. I will be starting the install today more than likely. Am taking out the back seats and putting sound deadener all along the back wall when I do it as well as putting something over the rear vents to quiet them down.
It won't be that simple and you would likely run into other issues. Not sure if the Alpine system has any extra power wires running to the amp or not but I imagine it would. I would imagine the rear wall is the same across all models as it would be inefficient if it wasn't. The factory sub is...
The Mopar lift will work just fine. For whatever reason the dealership says it won't work on quad cabs or long beds but the suspension setup is the exact same. There are a few people here that have it on quad cabs with no issue, not sure about the long bed but there is absolutely no reason it...
Not sure that anybody has done a side by side comparison between them, but multiple members here have had them installed and checked out at the shop and said everything looks great. Longevity is always a gamble, especially with first year runs of a new model. If you want peace of mind, I would...
I believe that while they will fit, they will not give as much lift. Somebody here had compared 4th gen struts to 5th gen struts. The 4th gen struts would result in a lower stance in the front.
Not sure on that one. Possibly to mislead customers into paying more for the same product, especially since they were the first to market anything for the 2019s. I bought their 2" top hat kit with control arms as the only other thing out was the RC preload spacer. Come to find out a month later...
I replaced my headliner speakers with the JBL GX302s. The grills are a pain to get off but they sound much better. My kids actually say it’s too loud back there now so I have it faded slightly toward the front.
I'm right there with you. 7 and 3 year old in the back, but they now complain it is too loud if I turn it up a little so I have to fade it forward. My wife has rode in the back with them on long road trips to keep them and she has said the same thing. The difference seems minimal up front but to...
It’s all relative. You’re not going to notice it as much if you sit in the front. Anybody in my backseat has been able to tell a difference or make a comment about how loud it is.
I've done mine. Replaced the factory Alpine speakers back there with JBL GX302s. The grill comes off but it is tough. Use a pry tool and go in the middle and work its way over to the corner. You'll have to be able to get your fingers in there and then pull hard. You will think it is going to...
