I'm at 123K miles on my 2019. It still looks like new inside and out and has no rattles either!
SAME! I LOVE this truck! Runs and drives like a champ! Other than maintenance and upgrades the only things I've ever had to do were the third brake light gasket and one cracked manifold.
It...
No degradation whatsoever in my opinion. Tighter cornering with less yaw/roll is the result. And as Silver Bullet said, there are zero additional mods needed. Some prefer to replace the swaybar links, but I've not found that necessary at all. I've not yet tried the highest setting...I'll...
I have the full BedRug and cannot recommend it highly enough, at least for similar use to mine. I haul EVERYTHING right on the rug. It sweeps, vacuums, and/or sprays right out. When I haul mulch, and the occasional deer, I simply lay a 6x8 tarp in the bed. I've never had a reason to remove...
I believe you mentioned towing a camper? If so, just be mindful of your payload. With all those options it's going to be pretty limited, no pun intended!
I hear you on the trifold, however I've run a soft cover trifold since 2007 with no issues whatsoever, but I am of course mindful that...
Congratulations! Assuming you got the power running boards (you'll come to LOVE them) and the Advanced Safety Group with the adaptive cruise control. I think you'll love that too! BTW, I'm late to the party but I've got a '19 Laramie (highly optioned) and I freakin LOVE it, even with 122K...
There is no such thing, honestly. you *could* replace the axles and all the suspension with HDparts...but why on earth would you? The only viable tool to accomplish this is www.autotrader.com.
Many of those countries running diesel are trying desperately to get rid of it. In Germany for example, most major cities do not allow older diesels in their downtown areas anymore, and the federal government there is squeezing the emissions so tight that most manufacturers are killing diesels...
I changed mine at 112K. The rears were at 10% remaining, the fronts were easily still 50%+ still remaining...that surprised me. I replaced with premium level from Advance Auto and I am VERY pleasantly surprised with the performance...definitely better than OEM. And my brake moan kit works...
I couldn't hear it very well in the video, but if it's coming from the front end I know there's been a bit of discussion on Front sway bar bushings. Just a thought...
Nice Truck! Welcome! Having had GM's and Fords I can surely say this 5th gen 1500 is the nicest driving, most user-friendly vehicle I've ever had. Just turned 120K and I remain as impressed as I was the day I got it. Not saying its perfect by any means, but for a full size truck it's comfort...
Been that way for a while...BigHorns standard with Halogen. You can get LED headlights as an option, or jump to Laramie. they are well worth it in my opinion.
First, OP, Welcome! Posting a pic of the new rig is always encouraged!
HemiDude...did you live in a northern climate with snow? We had a 71 Beetle, and it was HORRRRRIBLE in the snow...I could turn that wheel to full lock and that damn thing would still go straight ahead. Made for a truck...
So OP, you've been wrong on every point you attempted to make about the Ram engineers being stupid morons, and then continued to argue against correct information with people that were simply trying to help you out despite all that, and yet, no humility, no apology, no "gee whiz fellas, I guess...
My first thought would be to pull the screen out and check the connections behind it. It's rather easy if you've not done that yet. I'm hoping that your problem is fixed easily, quickly and cheaply!
Looks like the HK decision is clear, though I'll add my "yes" as well. I've also got a Laramie with the HK and the 12". For me both of these things were "nice to have", not on my must have list when buying. Now that I've had the 12" screen I've come to really like it and know I would miss...
