The harness from the front bumper to right inside the fire wall is populated with the wires for the sensors. You need to make a harness with the proper terminals that will pin into the connector up by the firewall and then into the module 68464879AG

you might have to still change the clock spring. Did you swap out the seats? The module that turns on the seats and steering wheel is under the passenger heated seat.

I'm not sure, looks like you have a 2500 and I don't know if they are interchangeable to the 5th gen 1500's

so since I don’t have an active subscription manage system is grayed out and doesn’t work. Is there a way to get into dealer mode that might show the radio info for sirius?

interesting, I wonder if that is the default and adding the programming is basically just giving you the ability to turn it off. In the settings on the screen you can have it not turn the seats and steering wheel on at all, on every start, or just with remote start.

i finished installing the wiring harness I made to get the heated seats and steering wheel working in my truck. I made all the changes with AlfaOBD but since I have the 12” uconnect with navigation for some reason it takes a while(sometimes days) for all the changes to populate on the screen...

do your seats and wheel turn on with remote start when it’s below 40 degrees out? If not you can enable that with the settings in AlpaOBD. I do know all the settings now. I’m installing the 2nd wiring harness I made today and hoping to finally have these working.

posting this just as a good visual aid for anybody else. From what I have been told you don't connect the antenna wi-fi or the antenna BT to the UC5 radio so if anybody purchases the ebay kit that adapter doesn't get used. Jimm07 doesn't even supply that adapter.

luckily I'm doing a 12" UC4 to 12" UC5 swap so I already have the antenna, but this is great info for someone else that doesn't.

Actually I got my conversion kit from Jimmy07. Just have that picture for install purposes.
