I'm not sure either, but there is a considerable gap from the lowest guys reporting here to the average, to the all highway guys. There's no rhyme or reason to such a big fluctuation. I understand, e torque, gears, tires, highway vs city but still, it's a huge range of numbers overall. There...
No prob, I hope I didn't come across like a jerk lol, I didn't mean it that way. I just meant you'd have better luck to ask in the topic of your question, people wont come into this thread looking to help people with uconnect issues is all I was trying to say.
Yes, post this and or check the 12.1 uconnect topic for this problem. You aren't likely to get help for a software issue under the "what did you do to your ram today" topic.
Where are you located? If you build one with ram boxes then click search inventory, you can expand the results to include different trims and options, looks like a crap load by me lol...
There's no point in quoting mileage or comparing yours to this or that until you have about 5k on the truck. I feel like the only real valid data comes from anyone that has over that mileage. Give it a chance, get a good mix of city/highway mileage, first oil change, winter driving, etc before...
So many threads about MPG on here lol, it's been discussed at length in about 24643 other threads. Bottom line, mileage sucks, have fun with the hemi and buy something else for mileage. It's a 400 H.P. box on wheels.
The second you get in the truck and start it, hit tow/haul, instantly turns off MDS and gears hold rpm's more before shifting. Some people have even gone as far to say its equivalent to "sport mode" I wont go that far but it does make it drive different and shuts down MDS instantly.
Sorry to hear that you've given up on FCA, but I'm glad you're happy now and can finally enjoy driving a new truck. Also, happy it's not a Tundra lol, as a UAW employee I'm glad you stayed in the big 3.
I noticed in the settings of uconnect, I think under apps maybe? Something said "send and go" when I clicked it it said like no recent addresses or something? I never gave it much thought after that and didn't feel like I cared enough to get the manual out or research it lol.
I figured it must have been where Budd Wheel was. Seems odd that they truck it to a railyard when there's tracks that split off into like 6 rail lines to load directly on the assembly plants property?
Not sure about Budd Yard, all I can think of is there used to be a huge automotive supplier in Detroit called Budd Wheel. Not sure if "Budd Yard" is where the former company used to be? In any event, unless you are waiting on a Grand Cherokee, that news article wont affect your order lol.
Jefferson North doesn't have crap to do with new Ram trucks, or old ones for that matter. That's the Grand Cherokee plant. The Rams are built and stored on and off of Van **** between 15 to 16 mile road. Rams ship right from the assembly plant, there are 5 different railroad tracks the come...
God bless each and every one of you lol, I'm glad I'm not in the minority. This truck wasn't meant to be driven in a eco friendly, gas mileage monitoring kind of way. Let the big girl eat lol.
Constant traffic, construction, lights every single mile that are NOT timed. Hit every single one. Get up to speed, stop for next one. So much time idling when the average is 0, it just kills it. The few highway trips I've done with cruise set to 70 was wayyyy better. 3 days back in the city and...
