I'm sure Mopar will have their own CAI too like they do for other models. No need for a aftermarket BOV since you can hear it having the CAI.

With the K&N CAI it removes the resonator tube that sits on top of the engine and the air filter and air box are no longer a choak point in the induction system. For me there is a gain in turbo/bov sound and increased air flow so it's not a waste. I don't think there was a 41HP gain but it does...

After putting on my K&N CAI you will definitely hear the turbos and bov. I put a Filter Wears pre-filter over the K&N filter to keep out any potential water since my sport hood vents are functional.

Instead of waiting for the S&B to finally be released, today I purchased the K&N online from Beef Cake Racing looking forward to the 41HP gain or at least audible turbo spool. lol

How does the K&N sound can you hear the turbos ? Is the air duct retained that goes next to the radiator?

I found a vendor by using the S&B part number they mentioned it would be available in March. I guess they were being optimistic.

I went from a 2023 Laramie 5.7L with 3.92 gears and 22" wheels to a 2025 Rebel. The Hurricane pulls stronger, doesn't downshift as often going up hills and gets better mileage than my 2023 Hemi. True the Inline 6 doesn't sound like a V8 but neither does a Cummins not a problem for me.

The best I got from my 2023 Laramie with 3.92 gears and 22" wheel option was 17.5 mpg.

That would be cool if you could get a Scat Pack 392 in a 1500. Have never understood why not since the 6.2 Hellcat was in the TRX.

For towing I would make sure it has 3.92 gears with either an e-locker or limited slip differential. The S/O comes with 3.55 gears standard.

The S/O has 3.55 gears standard and 3.92 optional all H/O have 3.92. The 5th gen Ram with 5.7L had 3.21 gears standard and 3.92 optional the 3.6L had 3.55.

That's great news. :) I'd like to enable the security alarm and disable the fog light dropout on high beam. Maybe go for broke and enable the performance pages too.
