I disabled mine because I have a rear entry garage and long driveway with many obstacles along each side. dont need to see down as much as what's happening on the sides.. nice to have on when parking near passenger side curb
my question to you guys familiar to the ram mirrors. is there a replacement glass for the tow mirrors that is just one piece. I am not liking the split mirror so far.
I put the 7709 on my laramie back in early september and set it to the middle position. I have towed my travel trailer a couple of times since then and I can tell that it has improved the ride by stffening up the rear end and thereby reducing that little bit of sway and shimmy I was getting when...
I have read that on a couple posts. also that 300# of driver and passenger are included but there is a lot of confusion out there about this stuff. I weighed mine at a CAT scale and got 5960# with me and 1/2 tank of gas, so 7100-5960 would just leave me 1140#.
from my 4x4 Laramie ccsb 5.7 hemi with ORP and sport pkg and 33 gal. tank. looks like mine doesnt have room for much else after me and the wife and tank of gas.
I have the Bakflip and have been on the road during a couple serious rain storms and have had no leaks. didnt use the tailgate seal on this one but had to use it on my 2017 sierra ccsb because I did get a little leak around the tailgate until putting the seal.
I have a laramie 4x4 ccsb ORP 5.7 hemi. took mine to CAT scale and weighed in at 5960# with me (225#) and half a tank of gas and with a Bakflip folding cover. only leaves 1140# for 500# trailer tongue and wife (120#) and whatever gear we pack. not what I was expecting after reading all the...
maybe not worth the cost of change-out. I pulled my travel trailer for about 100 miles in driving rain back in october and these tires seemed to work fine. will find out real soon about ice and snow traction.
just curious what info you might have about the difference between those wildpeak tires and the oem ones. wondering if it is worth changing out the oem ones I have for the retail version while I dont have very many miles on the factory ones.
when I am riding my motorcycle I often get stuck behind these kind of rigs. you dont know what's going to come flying at you from that trash bin or whether a cloud of tire chunks is going to take you out..
you guys are worrying me. I have had nearly all gm trucks except for a 2003 ram 1500 till this new 2019 laramie and never had one unwarranteed issue on any vehicle. I never get the esp or any extra service policies. I guess I have a hard time with the notion that on the one hand they are telling...
I have the Alpine system in mine. I have read about owners who have swapped out speakers for JBL ones. Are folks with the Alpine system doing that or just folks with the base system, because the the pics of the spkrs coming out just look like generic speakers to me.
