Hows this repair holding up? I too started to get some antifreeze smell at around 10,000 miles on my 21. I haven’t had time to pop the hood when it’s hot to sniff that area. There were a few TSB’s to replace the cooling fan and radiator hoses for a “skunk/antifreeze” smell on the 19 and 20MY. I...
That is true, but that last shift at 102 with 3.92s for that short pull to 105 just leaves so much power to be had before the truck throws me into the steering wheel 😂
Only thing I can come up with is that your tire size might of made your speedometer read differently. I went to this setting and mine was already disabled. I proceeded to goto the max speed entry and that was at 0.000kph. So with that being said, mine is still destined for 104.
I can normally get around 450-460 mis a tank (26gal) with my quad cab ORG with 3.92s and a regular Hemi. My EVIC vs calculator are usually right on or close, about .2 either direction. Snapped this pic on my way home after seeing this thread. I commute and run around 70-80mph depending on...
If wiggling the harness under the seats and moving the front seats back and forth dont clear it while its running its something else. The airbag system is live as soon as a fault goes stored the airbag light will go out. Could be a clockspring amongst many other things.
Not really my own theory. It is in the description of operation of the TTM and ITBM. They receive many inputs from other modules on the CAN-IHS, CAN-C as well as the TTM having responsibility for its own logic, actuation and sensing.
Installed mine last week and towed 500 miles this past weekend. I had about 7500lbs behind me and preferred the trailer set on heavy electric with gain around 6. The trailer brake controller is a smart module. It may not apply if you are expecting it to while stopped on level ground it takes in...
Successfully changed my DRL to the amber signals. Disabled the foglight drop out and enabled my tailgate ajar warning.
Decided i should install a trailer brake controller so i ended up doing that as well. Took me about 15 minutes to install but i am also a tech. One thing i recommend is atleast...
Per DealerConnect... it states tow/haul prohibits 8th gear overdrive. However, when towing, anything over 67mph mine will go into 8th on level surfaces. I also have 3.92 gears. As stated above MDS is disabled once tow/haul is active
Nothing really. It is just another lien release you need to keep track of when you want to get rid of the truck. If you dont have them on file you cant sell it until you get a release. So having a title with only the current lendor named is much cleaner.
I waited until i received the title to avoid having multiple liens recorded on the title. I refied and submitted that title and lien release and got another with new interest rate. Financing with chrysler cap was the only way to get the rebates. Nobody is gonna tell me what i can or cant do with...
I completed my first light tow couple weekends ago. From the NY Adrondacks to Berlin NH for a day RZR adventure. I have an open 6.5x10 galvanized steel trailer that is around 1600lbs empty, and the RZR is about 1600lbs respectively. The whole trip is uphill it seems. Had the cruise set at 55 in...
From DealerConnect. Part number for transfercase fluid with auto 4wd option is 68049954AA. Mopar transfer case lube for Borg Warner 44-44 and 44-45 is recommended.
Can anybody confirm that using the mirror signals as running lights with headlights works without power folding mirrors? It appears the wiring in the mirror is not there with standard power/heated tow mirrors according to wire schematics I have looked at. Would love to have the mirrors lit like...
No. The release date for the STARCASE was actually dated for today. That states the fix wont be until late 1st quarter. I would assume engineering is working on a flash.
Thats the type of thing i am talking about. My work involves keeping things going longer than they should by all means. This involves cutting that ziptie that is tugging on the harness that is known to have issues. Or using 5w-30 in this engine because it has 220k miles and with 5w-20 it will...
