Anybody else with the G/T exhaust getting a loud pop or crackle on the first shift of the day? Usually happens in the parking lot. Sounds cool but it scares the hell outta me 🤣 happens when going slow thru the parking lot and then letting off the gas. I’m sure it’s normal with any aftermarket...
In case it helps anyone… I’ve got maybe 2k miles on my GT exhaust. It sounds great, louder than at first but it definetly has broke in to say the least. Between the way I drive and towing, the tone is much louder than I had expected. It thankfully isn’t obnoxious when it’s in MDS but it’s right...
I’ve seen this a few times. There is a silent emissions code that won’t clear or let the monitors run. I’ve fixed them by over flashing the PCM with the same software on some. Then it has to be driven correctly for the monitors to run. I can normally make enough run in 8-10 miles in nys but...
P0456 and this mod have nothing to do with eachother. Unless you broke the purge solenoid or broke a vacuum hose on the intake loosening the air box and snorkel. Recheck your work. Depending on the age of the truck you might have just been unlucky. Just like the guy that shows up for an LOF but...
I personally would never own a half ton truck or smaller without atleast 3.92 gears. My Dakota has 3.92s and so does my new Ram. 2500 and up gas or diesel 3.73 is the perfect gear for me. My other ram (cummins) is a 3.73 truck with a nv5600. To each their own.
I’d check the build sheet to be sure. But my big horn lvl 2 with the ORG and night edition came with the 20” black wheels wrapped with raised white lettered falkens. When I ordered my truck I almost went with a sport ORG and I would have got the 18” wheels.
Yes, my truck is a 2021. They fit perfect. Complete bolt on. Only thing being reused as stated above I believe is: driver side tailpipe hanger(easier), exhaust tips, bolts for exhaust and hangers if you decide to change it all as one piece. Sounds great. Basically no drone in MDS, and not...
As stated above you need everything to get it from the factory. But, you can enable the trailer light check option by itself using 3Rd party software/hardware. I did it on my truck.
Received my pipes today and put them on tonight. I agree they really nailed it with the sound and also keeping it peaceful. Pretty impressed. Happy they came early and undamaged.
Curious if the G/T resonators have the weep holes, or if the interior design is just completely different. I assume it doesn’t have that annoying air leak sound from the resonators that is normally created with aftermarket muffler using stock resonators?
In case anybody is curious, the G/T muffler/lh resonsator I ordered is back ordered till possibly March. The rh resonator I’ll have next week. I don’t have a Rebel, but pretty pumped to throw this under the ole girl. Pricing is very fair compared to my other options.
Only way to achieve this is to set the emergency brake each time when parking. This will shut off the DRL. The parking brake should auto disable as soon as you hit the service brake and select a gear.
We’ll see. I ordered the muffler and rh resonator. No eta on the muffler, and no pricing yet on the resonator but they are showing some. Love the sound of them G/Ts
I think I’m going to try to order this for my 21. The numbers for the hardware all look interchangeable with the rest of the truck in DealerConnect. My only thought though is the exhaust tips. In 21 they are a different part number but list the new number superseded which is the same as the 22...
Does anyone know by chance if there is anyway to enable stealth mode with this yet? Its horrible not being able to dim the dash lights when the headlights are off at night. I’d rather not get another module.
I’m upstate and in northern Washington County… I ran and still run the Firestone Destination A/T on my little 99 Dakota. Been running them for over 12 years and 150,000 miles. That is my winter truck, and it was on I87 in the early morning hours Dec. 17th 2020 when we got 4ft of snow. Not only...
Not to hijack a thread… but are you still using the base 6 and changing these settings helped the sound quality of the base 6? As everyone else I lose all power and started to clip over 25-27.
