in the old days on top of the power steering pump is a little valvey thingy that you set dead center - it controls the left / right balance of the assist pressure.
dont have your arm thru the steering wheel when you start the car after changing the pump :)
and the first test drive you keep it...
went from 2 2wd trucks to 2 4wd trucks - its the whole reason im here in this forum even... im fixing to move innawoods and the 2wd got stuck 1st time we went up there so they had to go.
so i very much regretted not having 4x4s as i was laying out the money to exchange 2 perfectly good 2WD...

a heads up for anyone going for this after me + securityguy -
you got to bend the top bracket a scosch in a vice to get it to fit over the lippy on the hitch frame
put it in a vice and bend it wider slightly just a bit
then when you bolt it on the truck, squeeze it back together with a hand...
clean install!
lets see it tonight boss! i set mine out towards a 45* angle it doesnt look so great visually but the beam width allowed it and at night it lights up a pretty wide area
