This a mix of both offsets, but you can see in the one photo with the wheel turned, it’s close. Mudflap is gone, the bracket for it is hammered back, liner is trimmed. Those are the 44, I bet the 51 would rub there in that same position. This is at 7”, so 2” lower I imagine it would be all up...
yep, I’ve had -44 and -51 wheels on my truck. Both rubbed before minor trimming. I haven’t had to cut anything besides the liner, but I imagine being 2” lower would require a lot more trimming.
just kind of part of owning a large or lifted truck... most dont have a sharp turning radius. Solid axle trucks will turn more, but also allows a lot more stress on the components.
Easiest way to park is to pull past the spot a bit and turn away from it, then cut the wheel and back in. Doesn’t...
for the folks searching... i would assume this would apply for ram but I’ve never done it. However, GM has the worst inventory tool ever online. But if you call them, they can do a ‘power search’ and they can basically filter on anything and tell you where your nearest matches are. Might be...
it’s funny because it only got one compliment on the original hostiles I had, it’s gotten about 5 on this setup which was literally the cheapest black wheel I could find on eBay lol, and never gotten a single compliment on the forged wheels since I’ve had them over the past ~6 months.
Spinners
have you seen my truck with the 20x9? Can’t remember if I showed you this or not.... the funny thing is I do want 24x14s lol, machined not chrome.
You should be doing it via text or email. Stop going in person IMO, they are trying to pressure you and close you while you there. Past 5 trucks I’ve bought without ever seeing them, saw it online, talked to someone, showed up to buy it. All have been decent deals I think lol.
I went procomp because it was 1500 shipped lol. And half these kits didn’t exist when I did mine. I’d probably go zone if I was going it today. Or maybe RC when it’s on sale for super cheap. And upgrade shocks on either kit, something I never did with mine.
With the 0% it is a good deal as stated if you keep it for the whole loan. To be honest I just skimmed over that 0% part lol. I never keep anything long enough for it to make sense, but since you mentioned you would have it the whole time it makes the deal sweeter. I wouldn’t be too concerned...
thatsa sweet dealer discount but the lack of rebates is hurting you. I don’t think you’ll see much more here, its not a bad price but you could probably get into a 20 for the same price (and probably cheaper in the next couple months).
Yep that’s just what it does in MDS/eco, all my trucks have done this. I’ve probably got somewhere around 65k miles of combined hemi mileage with no issues. I wouldn’t sweat it.
that’s a great deal (y)
I think it’s much harder to get such an aggressive dealer discount on some of the trucks that are loaded to the gills with options, but buying a limited at Laramie pricing is a pretty easy decision haha. That 3k rebate was definitely a huge plus too. Well done.
I’m curious if these noises People hear are MDS related or not. It will definitely ping and do some funky stuff when you are accelerating in MDS with too much load
