Yes.
You need to tap into both the turn signal wire AND the brake signal wire, then combine both with the Tail as Turn module that I have mentioned in earlier posts in this thread. That TaT module will output both signals in a single wire that goes to the lightbar.
Like most people who tried this, I just have the turn signals first but then the brake light (on the lightbar) would not activate...only the turn signal.
Many vehicles (and all trailers that I know of) have a single wire that has both the turn signal and brake signal going to the tail light...
I have ~2,600 miles on them now and I have been very impressed with them. I expected a little more road noise over the OEM Deulers, but so far, they have been just a quiet!
They firmed up the handling, especially when towing (as expected with 10ply tires), and traction increased as well. Of...
I went with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT.
I wanted E rated tires with better traction while still quiet as OEM. These tires met all of those in spades (and they look great too). It firmed up the ride, especially when towing, and made the truck feel more sure-footed. Since I wanted new tires, I...
😆
Thanks!
Unfortunately, we do make frequent stops like this thanks to the 23 gal tank. It was my only comprise. I couldn't find one with a 33 gal tank and without the extras like the pano roof or the 22's anywhere reasonably close to me.
For now, it's not a big deal because I have 2...
Worked fine with my Note 20 Ultra and my wife's S20.
Another way you can try is with the USB cable and Android Auto (AA). When doing the initial setup of AA with a new car, it also does the Bluetooth pairing automatically (because AA uses a combo of USB and BT to work best).
Make sure your...
I thought about not needing the mud flaps in TX, but since we travel with our trailer (regardless of weather), I'd rather have a little more protection from rocks and such.
😆 Not looking forward to that heat tho.
Lol, nope. No way I could have in that cold. I plan to put it on in a couple...
Installed WeatherTech mud flaps in 18 degree weather today. Thank goodness it was a quick install.
I never cared for the rooster look on the side of my truck, plus I wanted to also protect the TT a bit from rocks when I tow. But the big reason was that I couldn't take the constant mud...
I've been pulling a 2021 Freedom Express 257BHS the past couple of months. It's a 25' trailer that is just under 29' tip to tip. It's dry weight is 5,822 lbs with a GVWR of 7,500 lbs and a hitch weight of 671 lbs (mfr ratings).
It tows great and I have been nothing but impressed once I put...
I saw a while ago that someone cut up some pool noodles and strategically attached them to the walls and tool chest to help with the bumper car parking job.
Im getting around 16-17 MPG at 65-70 MPH with my 4x4 eTorque Hemi with 3.92 and heavy 34" tires. I was getting about 18 MPG before the tires, but that was before the engine had 1k miles on it.
Oddly enough, my city MPGs aren't much worse (14-15MPG). Not sure if it's the gearing, eTorque and...
I don't have experience with the Falkens, but they were high on my list based on many reviews. Traction will be very good with them and they should be relatively quiet (but not as quiet as the stock tires from what some reviews have said).
Finally decided it was time to get the Hellwig. When I got my tires, the improvement in handling was pretty significant due to the stiffer 10-ply, so I didn't feel compelled to get the swaybar right away. But after my 1400 mile trip while towing my TT, I figured it could only help with the...
Those are great tires! I have been quite impressed with them because they are as quiet as my stock Duelers, seem to be doing well in the snow, and they look so beefy. But the main improvement is the driving improvement. Like you said, more solid (which really helped when towing or cornering).
The Nav in Motion option does more than the name implies. It really should be called Motion Lock Disable. You can access uConnect settings while in motion too. Or, my fav reason, is to view the cameras while in motion. The 360 system lets me see if I am pulling up between the lines, if my...
It could be a coincidence in timing (there has been weird/random issues with uConnect).
Have you done the full reboot that is in the Tazer? The instructions say you should do that after changing some selection changes.
If it is the Tazer and that hasn't helped, you can reach down (with the...
That's basically what I do since I always have a tonneau on my trucks. It's secure under the cover AND it's out-of-site/out-of-mind.
This time around I added a BedRug XLT Mat as well (partly to save my knees and partly to prevent scuffing of things I haul). I wish I had bought one of these...
